Huge surprise for Halloween lovers comes from Robert, his alties and friends on TRANCE ROOTS ✌️💪

Be prepared to enjoy a big variety of styles: from trancy - here in main thread; to some harder (mainly in second post) and electronic (third post with last part); there’s even a Zombie Nation remix :D

Enjoy! ⭐️

One major significance of this release to me, is that it has introduced several new aliases of Robert Vadney to me.

I thought that he had stopped producing deep and JOOF tracks after he started his Trance Roots label, until I found out these works have shifted to the "Nic Vad" alias. The 11th track "Gorgon's Wail" is excellent and beyond my expectation. I have to listen more before commenting on other tracks.

After having several thorough listens, there are 3 tracks standing out to me. They are

Robert Vadney - ZombieZ (Live Synth Jam), which seem to be an adaptation of Zombie Nation. This one is not necessarily trance, but it is my favorite track under his main Robert Vadney alias since 2023. Very dynamic and driving.

Infernal Gift - Hell on Earth, these trancy, crazy and hi-bpm tracks are really getting me closer to the psychedelic state. The production of some parts may be stereotypical, but I'm still liking it because of my personal taste.
(The next Infernal Gift track, i.e. Xenomorph Blood Rave is a bit more minimal than the first one, but its rhythm fails to attract me, as I'm very hoping that the track can progress like a UTE track does, but it doesn't.)

Nic Vad - Gorgon's Wail as I mentioned in the previous post. After several listens, I think this one is not as excellent as I thought in the first listen. But it did make me reminisce about these deep, progressive & dark JOOF tracks during 2015-2019.

Some other tracks of the compilation sounds unattractive, so I may only rate 6.5/10 as it balances between excellent and ordinary tracks.

And it features a lot of low male voices, and elements from scary stories and thrillers to match the Halloween theme, this can be good when it is used well, but may also make me rate the tracks lower in some occurrences.
