BTW, make sure to subscribe to my channel so you won't miss out on my second interview with Roger about the beautiful "Lost", which he did with Zara! Plus many more interviews will be posted in the next weeks with people such as Jam El Mar (Jam & Spoon), Sian Evans (Kosheen), Jon The Dentist, Zied Jouini & Torsten Stenzel (N.U.K.E.) and much more!

The roots of 'Dj Shah' are in the Dance/Hard Dance scene (same like ATB, B&J, Woody etc), so yes, the cheesiness is the part of his musical evolution... He was the resident dj of 'Kinki Palace' a big room disco club where also 'Scooter' have made some concerts..) I din't know that he and the 'Sunlounger' are the same person, I was already away when 'White Sand' became a hit.. here is a typical old 'Shah' production:

Klubbingman - Open Your Mind (DJ Shah Remix)

I love Another day on a terrace and his collaboration with Seis Cuerdas

Was an enjoyable interview. I have a soft spot for the cheesy chillout he did, especially his earlier stuff in that style. White Sands is nice, and Another Day on the Terrace is lovely. Lost also gotta come on sometimes for a good sing, especially when the wife is in room and i'm trying to get the Trance on without her complaining.
