Scanfix - Lost Times (Forescape Digital)

Scanfix is a producer I rate highly but on first listens I find these disappointing compared to his previous works. They are too minimalistic and the generic acid synths are overdone in my opinion. Floating is my pick of the two but was expecting more.

Sounds like 94-96 styled intro track to a goa-compilation. Lost times that is. Its pretty hypnotic actually. It starts out dull with a umcomfortable plod tempo, but i ended up liking it, aswell as Floating. That one reminds me of the 96-97 styled pre-progressive style.

Yes when the new small percussive element enters at it gives it enough movement to continue the sense of build and Lost times becomes very mesmeric. Floating is good too, actually this one is my favorite.

Yeah both are very nice. I could listen to and enjoy both, but don't think I'll come back to them. Prefer Floating.

Not bad. They do plod a bit for me, floating less so.
