This is brilliant for me! I love Simon's work, few releases per year, all great imo. I'll support it for sure.

Thanks for posting it.

Im in shock...expected uplifting banger, but this is very slow, housey track. Its even bigger shock for me after hearing him on Dreamstate where he played 138 all the way :)
To be honest, this is not my cup of tea, but i can appreciate the lush production...I guess its fine for a background listen

Well, at DS he was the opening DJ, and knowing Simon he did not care one bit about having only 1000-1500 people there for the first slot. He was having fun, and so were we!

As for the track, there's a lush, warm feeling to the groove which really hits home for me. The clap is very techno sounding so I'm not sure it goes that well with the rest of the track, but I appreciate the various elements he incorporated. Also, the lyrics for once are not your run of the mill cheese factory, so another plus!

Totally uninteresting and pure cheese imo.

Sound like a beginner production. Awkward and just so basic!

I quite like this, and it's useful for a turning point in a set. Sounds like Fe's got a large ulcer on her tongue, but I like it. Roxanne Emery could do with a few.

I think this is pretty nice after catching it for the first time today and have supported it via his Bandcamp page.

If I'm honest I hadn't listened to much Simon O'Shine since back when I was still a fan of the emotional uplifting (somewhat steroidy) type stuff with Your Distant World, Wuthering Heights etc. and was surprised with this change of direction.

To me it feels like something that Tiësto would've played back in the day maybe mid 00's and I'd have expected a track like this to feature on an ISOS compilation or something. Classy, polished, deep progressive vocal number that if you close your eyes you can easily get lost in.

Vocals are always going to be hit or miss, but I certainly don't mind them here.

I admit I also found myself tapping along, despite this substyle being something I never usually touch.
