Ah, well look at that! That's a nice surprise Jetflag.

Also looking forward to the Matahari retouch. Curious to hear how that turned out.

The beat on a every single track is just so lifeless, dry and digitalised it hurts.

Not a single track opened my eyes tbh. Maybe 3-4 ok:ish ones.

thanks, not 100% pleased with the final master though. It sounds a bit hollowed out, but that might be just the YT preview, hopefully.

Good compilation. Not a single bad or extra boring track. I really did enjoy it as a whole, However I will select some standout tracks...

Standout tracks which are 8 or even 9/10

14. Robert Nickson - Delyo's Voyage (Solarstone Edit)
4. Stoneface & Terminal & SinSonic - Spaceglide
7. M.I.K.E. Push vs Trinitro - Endless Balance (Stoneface & Terminal Remix)
9. Stoneface & Terminal with Robert Nickson - From the Sun

very good tracks around 7/10 from me:

1. Adam Nickey - Reflections
4. Hoopoe - Matahari (Balearic Mix - Solarstone Retouch)
8. Aerium - Something More (Solarstone Retouch)
11. Akkima - Moments (Solarstone Retouch)
12. Paul Ryan - Stars
13. Sunscreem - Love U More (Solarstone Pure Mix)
5. Martin LeBlanc - Lagom (Activa Rework)
6. Paul Denton - Ricochet (Stoneface & Terminal Remix)
12. Sam Laxton - Life In Trance
13. Stoneface & Terminal - Frontlines (Book Series Version)

"I want you to say something more".
"What? I have nothing more to say".
"... Just say something more".
"I'm getting tired of this".

This is how it was made.

Liking the track btw :) Not bad to have it 6+ minutes included!

Gave both mixes two solid listens each.

Pretty meh to be honest. There aren't any particularly bad moments but it all feels incredibly safe and predictable. There weren't any melodies that stood out for me which is a disappointment considering this is a melodic trance compilation. The pacing and length of the mix itself is fine - it's the quality of the individual tracks that is somewhat lacking.

Do you know where songs such as Frontlines or Ricochet or Mist On The Hill can come out? I bet they have the potential to come out on the FSOE label than on the Pure Trance Label. Anyone have something info?

As for the compilation, the CD 2 from S&T deserves praise because such a mixture and such a set of tracks makes you want to listen :)

Just listened. Nobody noted the mid tones are like 300% too loud? Horrible sound!!

That said, the Stoneface & Terminal Remix of Paul Denton is SUPER cool

I've been playing this many times over the past month. At first I enjoyed but was not blown away. Now, with more listens, I am finding deep connections with certain tracks and overall really like what Rich has done.

I would even say this is better than Vol 1 in many ways, the track ideas are more interesting and there is less pop vocals. The flow is nicer. The downside would be that it feels a slow affair at times, with not as much energy as Vol 1. There is no massive uplifting feeling tracks with as enjoyable as let's say 'Falcons' (which isn't really uplifting, but you get my point). CD2 is my favorite. We have some great tracks from S&T. I liked your track a lot Aerium.

I may even prefer this to EA3.

counting this one, and not counting the various digital compilations that post-hoc follow on Blackhole to (presumably) boost beatport sales, , I think i'm at 4,

so thats,
EA2
EA2 ambient edition
Pure V2
and Pure V9
That is cool as shit bro. I know this is a necro, but running through a few posts and that makes me happy to see :)
