Haha how many releases of Seven Cities are we gonna have? Most of the remixes have already been released a couple of times already over the past 22 years.

Atlantis Mix is the best here, no doubt, followed by the Pure Mix. But the Atlantis Mix is from '99, and Pure Mix from '13. The other two sound incredibly out of place, there's just nothing outstanding about them. The difference in quality is huge. I don't think anyone in 2021 and beyond can remix this and create a stunner.

Chris and ferry T remixes are horrid.

The remix count has to be up there with the most of any classic. Possibly an interesting thread.

Yes.

The track isn't even that good to begin with...

That might be cursing in the trance-church. It's nice, just don't consider them among the biggest of the biggest trance classics.

Yeah, it's just one of the most iconic, thanks to that melody.

Just listened the Ferry Tayle Remix. Another "uplifting" remix of a classic. Just what we needed.

A silver lining to these releases is the exposure it gives to the Original and Atlantis remix the younger generation that might be discovering Trance. I don't find the new remixes here particularly bad here, but we already have 20 remixes of this track, we didn't need more. What worries me is this says Pt. 1...

Of these two fresh remixes, only Ferry Tayle Remix dominates very high above Chris's remix. A light good uplift and the current connects with each other. Chris's remix is a pointless shell where there is neither order nor composition.

Schweizer remix is absolutely out...the new melody he made doesnt fit the track at all, almost amateurish work to be honest...
Ferry Tayle remix on the other hand is decent, quite well done, nice for a few listens :)
