Songs you love and hate

In my computer i have a folder where i save songs that have some parts that are so good that i just cant let them go even other parts is so bad that i rarely play the song.

In some songs the intro is so damn good and the buildup is like heaven and then comes the climax and its totally shit and you are so dissapointed. Or it can be the other way around, the intro and buildup is bang average but in the takeoff the song is fantastic.

I find songs like this all the time, i dont know if its just me, but yeah here we can post all the songs that was almost great but still not.

Ill start out with just a random one from the past. I just love everything in the beginning, the flow in the song is so catchy. And then comes the part at 4:30 , totally misplaced and ruins the whole song for me. And 1 minute later at 5:30 its all ok again.

The part between 1:26 and 1:52 is leaning towards something that could've been a personal top 10 of all time, if not top 5 if this track had been an uplifting one. Unfortunately, it's literally the only part of the track I think sounds good, the rest is REALLY not my thing.

This is perfect example of what i meant. Never heard this song before because i just cant be bothered check armin anymore, but yeah that part u mentioned is very very beautiful. Oh so sad =(

I find that melody particularly random, but yeah I agree, it stands out too much anyways.

Love and hate is perhaps a bit too strong word here, but I do understand what you mean. There are several tracks for me as well, which could be absolutely brilliant except for that 1 part.
Here is one example:
Buildup is great, groovy and constantly progressing, then breakdown from 3:20 onwards is perhaps my top 5 ever, such a beauty, everything is perfect there, melody, sounds used, goosepumps every time.
Then from 4:15 onwards you get that feeling that all of this builds up to something absolutely massive and then from 4:40 onwards it sort of just never evolves into anything. Pretty boring and leads into nothing until from 6:20 it just repeats the original buildup.
