Lovely soundscapes here. Think I prefer the original since its less energetic and more laid-back approach works better with the atmospheres, but both are fine tracks.

The only thing I'd change in the original is throw out that typical Sylenth1 arp melody before the climax. It's totally unnecessary IMO.

One of the best tracks of the year! (Original). Was this on Interfered II? I Like the remix as well.

And don't listen to Gagi that Sylenth1 arp is a beaut.

that clap sucks ! its what drives the whole track for god sake.

the only thing i like is the break before the big generic synth comes in :)

has the same problem i hear in many modern prog trancers - no concistency or proper idea/developement. the producers doesnt know what they are even going for. its unclear.

The original mix is really nice, a chilled proggy track with trancey elements here and there.
The production is crisp and high quality whereas the remix is quieter. Maybe the mastering wasn't done correctly or an issue with the upload to YouTube.

The original would make a good set opener. Another positive is that all the sounds and effects are congruent and fit well as a package. Haven't heard of this producer so will be checking out their other productions.

This has been a fantastiс year for label and I've already got some gems lined-up for 2021

I discovered this label thanks to this forum here, I have enjoyed seeing you post your releases. JOOF radio is another one I can go to for these sounds, but often it too techno orientated and missing the nice melodies or groove that is more frequent on your label. Do your tracks ever get played on JOOF. This is another nice release, I will follow your progress 2021.

Thanks for the nice words! John plays releases of my label sometimes on the JOOF radio but not my own productions, he calls them old-fashioned and «legacy stuff», but I don't care, I have my own label and I believe in my music.

Wouldn't say your stuff sounds old-fashioned at all, it sounds really modern from a production perspective. Even the track ideas are generally modern type of prog-trance-techno. Its not like all those house-trance crossovers in this section that really try and mimic nostalgia sounds. Strange comment from him

It's a really great label actually. I hadn't heard of it until earlier this year when a few people recommended it for good quality trance. I've already bought a large number of tracks from it and will continue to support. For example, the mix that @TomYelland posted in another part of the forum has introduced me to many other great tracks that I hadn't heard before and will be buying.

I've heard JOOF play tracks from the label quite a few times this year. So many good artists on there, including yourself. I'd say my favourites so far have been Rick Pier O, Basil O'Glue, Jamie Baggotts, Scanfix, Coredata, Anton Trian and Subtara.
What inspired you to start your own label and what setup do you use to produce? I'm planning on learning how to produce myself.

Thanks so much man!

I started my own label back in 2016 because music of my favorite producers at that time was completely overlooked by DJs and listeners and those producers were struggling to find home for their tracks. I wanted to do my very best to deliver proper underground trance music to the key players of the scene. After 5 years of running the label I can say that the results have exceeded my expectations massively. I've never expected that my label will be where it is now. I'm working with the best producers in the world, extremely talented people. It's my absolute honour to work with all of them.

I've managed to sign music from almost every producer I wanted. If you have a look at the list of producers who delivered music for Forescape, It's a hybrid of JOOF, Saturate Audio, Bonzai Progressive and Lost Language labels which were my favorites back in 2016 and most of them still are. 90% of music released on Forescape was delivered to me after direct e-mails/messages to my favorite producers, It's the hardest part of running an unknown label and there were a few moments where I had absolutely nothing to release and thought that I have to stop, luckily every time I received a great unexpected demo and kept on moving.

I'm running this label by myself, I don't have anyone else helping me with it and I don't even want somebody to assist me. Why? Simply because I'm a perfectionist, straight-forward and honest guy, I want to be in control of everything by myself. If you want to do something great, then do it by yourself, that's my motto. At the moment label's roster of artists has hit the ceiling. I've released music from Basil O'Glue and Rick Pier O'Neil for example, they're probably the most well-known artists from Forescape, anyone else who's more popular and also produces music that I like is out of reach for me and I'm not ready to spend my monthly salary for one original from those producers. There's 100th release coming up this summer and I still have no idea who's gonna deliver it, gotta crack my head.

I can talk about the label for hours and hours, there are some great people in the industry and some idiots as well, the earlier you identify them the better haha.

As for my own productions, my setup is AKAI MPK49 keyboard and Sennheiser HD 25 headphones, that's all. I produce in Ableton Live, my key plugins are Spire, Serum, Gatekeeper and LFO Tool. I use alot of internal Ableton plugins like EQ Eight, Compressor, Saturator, Reverb and Delay. As for the samples, my favorite resource is Freshly Squeezed. You can learn anything about the music production on YouTube, there's no need to sign up on Sonic Academy or somewhere else, believe me.
