Seems to be too late to post this, but I just surprisingly found that Spooky released a new album after almost 20 years. Great Progressive music. Perpetual is good.

That's a big surprise. Spooky is really talented. Their "Schmoo" and "Little Bullet" are timeless classics. And they also contributed to the production of some Progressive classics by Sasha from the late 90s', including "Xpander".

Perpetual is nice, but part of the charm of Spooky for me was the very delightful analog sounds they had, which Is gone now.

I first heard the album back in spring when it came out, and nothing really grabbed me on the first listen. I just gave it a second spin, and I have to say 'Temple' is probably my favorite track, though I don't feel much of a need to return to this album again..

for me, the ultimate 'Spooky' track will always be 'Stereo' when I first got my hands on it back around 2001, I thought it was a new relaese even though it came out in 1995, it still sounded super fresh..

in case you're interested, 'Orange Colored Liquid' came out last year with new versions by 'Alex Kassian' and 'John Beltran' aka 'Placid Angles' on 'Test Pressing Recordings'. the label owner of 'Test Pressing' used to be the A&R for 'William Orbit's' 'Guerilla Records', which released 'Spooky's earliest material back in 1992–1993.
