Just spotted that the next two tracks from Standard Form have appeared on the pre-order radar, scheduled for release on 6th Feb. I had the pleasure of mixing both of these in a set I did for Krafted last year - Europa's Dawn is a lovely slow building breakbeat trance track, whereas Surface Wave is much deeper and darker (would love to hear it in a proper underground club scenario), and I reckon probably fits the "Deep Trance" proposal that John OO Fleming has been discussing of late.

Anyway, hope you enjoy :)

Will update with fuller links when they're available.

Surface Wave sounds very very interesting! That detuned lead is a breath of fresh air for me.

mmm, never been a fan of this 125 + modern deep trance, with just a subby bass and barely no percs to drive the track forward..

not a fan of the snare build in the break either...sorry.

tracks in crimson on the other hand has grown on me. more of that please!

That second one is really nice, will definitely play that :)

(although I agree with Daysleeper that those snares are a bit out of place, I think too loud, for the rest of the track)

Not a fan of the breakbeat tune, but the latter sounds promising. Would want to hear a full cut of it to see how it progresses. Percussion sounds like it's borrowing a bit from the FSOE UV sound, which IMO has become a bit overdone at this point but the synths sound like they'd be wicked live.

The full mix of Surface Wave did not disappoint! I love the way the acid line comes in before the breakdown. Definitely a 9 minute track where all 9 minutes feel deserved. I was pretty wrong about the UV comparison as well, think that was just Beatport. The countermelody addition in the 2nd breakdown is pretty wicked as well.

Excellent, glad the full version of Surface Wave is coming across well - it's a beast isn't it! Am passing on the lovely comments to David :)
