STU MORT always spoils us with his output here at EL-EL. His 2019 'Lost Chapters EP' provided no less than four unique cuts, taking in ambient, trance and breaks along the way. And it's another musical spread we have here, with FIVE very different takes on title track ONEONENINE.

A thumping 'Club Mix', a driving 'Dark Dub', a pulled back balearic 'Summer Mix', an ambient 'Dream Mix' and even a synth-wave inspired 'Future Mix' have been provided this time round, the wistful main melody being utilised to great effect on each interpretation, bar the Dark Dub which is heavy on the acid.

ONEONENINE is an ode to an address, an after-party destination that holds dear memories for our man Mort. The after-party was always our favourite bit of the night, here's hoping there's a stack of those in our future.

Released in loving memory of Ash Prendergast, devoted father, partner, brother, son & friend.

Very good, looking forward to hearing the full version and other mixes. Stu Mort is a producer I rate, check out his other stuff on Lost Language. And good to see the label active again after a quiet last year.

I usually end up loving all the LL releases because they are extremely picky when it comes to quality. This is quite a driving track, love the acid lines in the intro, and the riff before the break with all the distortion works really well I find.
Was not expecting such a summery and different break and main lead, but then again that's why I love Lost Language stuff. I expect there'll be a softer mix as well given the title

Holy shit, that break is fantastic! Hoping for a softer, lighter mix with less acid.

AND THOSE PHASERS ON THE MAIN MELODY!!! Haven't heard that in a while, huh.

meh, not liking it. typical modern rubbish acid way too polished and the melody is just some chords. not feeling it at all.
