'Taucher' (German for 'Diver') was once in the very early 90's denied to entry the legendray 'Dorian Gray' club in Frankfurt (due his very ordinary clothes). the very next day, he returned to the club wearing his uncle's diving suit and was remarkably, admitted.

this stunt made him a popular figure in the Frankfurt club scene. he continued to use variations of the diving costume and later began to organize his own parties under the name 'Taucher presents'. the globally renowned 'Sven Väth' was one of the very first djs to perform on these events. all this attracted the attenntion of 'Torsten Stenzel', who invited 'Taucher' to his music studio. together they collaborated and produced the majority of 'Taucher''s tracks from 1993 to 2006.

'Happiness' was the debut release of 'Taucher', the track has a vocal sample 'when did the light die' taken from 'Sinead O'Connor - Troy'
