Wow! Had my attention from the start and wasn’t disappointed.. gave me that feeling of a one-way trip flying through space ...if you can excuse the description.. but that’s the imagery it created for me 🤣

Liking this. Not amazing but it's closer to the form he was hitting in 2017/2018.

The more I listen, the more I like it. Not as captivating as 'A Part of Us' and some other more recent ones he's done, but as far as current uplifting goes its still in the top 10% so I will take it.

Extended Mix

Its bro:ish production ruins it. The arrangment is boring, very template boring. the bassline is typical of every damn modern "trancer", very broish, but all DSR releases have this bro/loudness to it so I guess its the labels fault??

The melody and atmospheres are quite nice, but unfortunaly that alone doesnt make this a great, or even good track. Im blown that this style of production is still going strong.

The kick does feel too hard. As soon as it comes in you feel that. But I don't find it boring or bland once everything gets going, and even the kick kind of fits in (just about). There is a simpleness I arrangement I agree, but I personally can resonate with what he's done here with the melody/atmospheres/synths and it does the job.

I dont htink the a&r for anjuna back then would have let this pass., no.
This track actually good. Even you back to listen some classic Trance like Airbase. Sound very awful mastering, and people call its good? OMG.

Sorry, what do You mean? Old tracks def could have bad mastering. That's kot the point though. Mastering isn't a problem here i think. Or maybe its a factor aswell but its the production

L'Envoi has nothing to complain about, when it has a clean sounding, good melody. I think so, if Joe overworked on the track, the track might be have no day to finish.
In this way, the track basically reached the standard.
The production is perfect fit. Even 10 years later, its will good to heard.
But look at Trance track from 2001 now? Sound awful as fuck.
