I found this site from the vote results last year. First time I found people who fuck with the music I do. I’m in the process of putting my list together.

Mikkel Rev - Whorl was my most placed trance tack by far, so that will be there. I like Enigma State - Lately for that throwback sound.

Rambal is the producer of the year. I grabbed 10 tracks from him this year, and there might be more coming.

(The best Lange track after Together in 2022, in my opinion.)

(One of the best Progressive Trance tracks this year I think, typical and outstanding Protoculture sound.)

(The ideal "Raw Trance" be like in my opinion, knowing this track thanks to the Beach Mix on Pure Trance.)

Maybe not as good as last year, but I still enjoy following the scene immensely, regularly coming to this place to catch up.

Enigma State - S-Bahn is my ToTY at this point, but plenty of thinking to be done.

This tune just grabs me at the heart,
especially that breakdown, I melt.


• Airwave - Inner Child (Extended Mix)

Same as above, grabs me emotionally.
Didn't expect this style from Laurent, reminded me of the classic André Visior & Kay Stone - Something For Your Mind (Giuseppe Ottaviani Remix).


• Synthasia - Wunderland

I'm always seeing a knight dressed in full metal armour, sitting on a horse ready for a battle, when this tune is being played. What a massive, majestic Trancer!


• Wavetraxx and Jaron Inc. - Summerbreeze [PT.1] (Wavetraxx Extended Mix)

Just beautiful melody and somehow very 'romantic'


• Sean Tyas & Enigma State - Lately (Extended Mix)

Big, spectacular, a real hit!
Huge bassline, very Ferry-ish!


As you can see, I'm committed to picking tunes that grab me emotionally.

If we shall pick the best tunes for a party/an event, it's easy.

Lately takes the cake, with Julian Del Agranda's Time Warp coming second. Those two just tear the roof up. You've got to mix in that classic WOOH! shout sample into Julian's tune for best effect, when playing it live on the dancefloor!

Trasporto by EarthLife would complete the party top 3, it's a secret weapon. Absolutely huge one for a big outdoor event!
So much tension in it.
Needs to be sped up a few BPM for best effect!

It's been a moderately quiet year for me release wise, although I've never been one to release a track a month anyway, but I think it's been a relatively good year for me.
