Surely this position has been bought haha?! Gotta to be one of the worst amateur tracks ive heard - on an unknown label aswell..

This leads me to wonder how easy it is just to 'buy' a BP Number 1..

Haha, to be honest, I kinda like it. Those vocals are incredibly rainbow-unicorn-over-the-top-cringy. It feels like the whole track is a huge "pun". And only then I like it.

A little Google on this... The producer his posts on Facebook only get 1 or 2 likes... inluding the posts about this track. This track is not found in ANY deejaysets. Not even unknown podcasts that nobody listens to. And it's JUST released a few days ago.

So yeah, pretty clear "purchased it ourselves" promotion. I think they bought it like 10 times, trying to get it into the top 100. Now they are shocked too, seeing at number 2 ;)

Feel free to buy "COBRA" a couple of times. I'm 100% sure nobody else does, so it's foolproof testing ;)

I'd bet 10 times puts you in the top 100 already. I remember people (trance.nu era) saying stuff like "with 100 you will get high in the top 100". But that's more than a decade ago. It can only have gotten less... :)

Ive noticed TInlicker's version of Children has been around the top 20 for nearly a year now - that probably tells you that theres not many copies of other tracks being sold. I suppose most people stream on Spotify nowadays and dont buy. The BP chart becoming less and less significant. I just visit it now and then for a bit of comedy haha.

The most shocking example is Niels van Gogh - Pulverturm (Tomcraft Remix).

That track is simply always (low) in the top 100. It has been like that for as long as I can remember, and looked it up right now. It's still there at #97.

Pulverturm is cool, but I don't see any reason why this classic would be purchased all the time. Seems like Kosmo Records simply buys it like 5 times every month.

Edit: Just noticed "Meet her at the love parade" is also there, at #92 (Nalin & Kane Remix) and #93 (Original). Also Kosmo Records. Also 5 purchases for those then. It would be rather coincendetal if everybody buys BOTH versions...

Wtf is this bullshit haha

And yeah I also checked his facebook before Magnevi wrote the comment and noticed absolutely no attention from the trance society so I'm sure it was bought. I also have a feeling this guy just hires the cheapest ghost producer available. His instagram photos get thousand of likes as well.

There should be a separate beatport chart for 13 y.o. girls listening to this. Also the vocalist's English is pretty bad.

And full track is only worse.

Looking at his Insta,it looks like hes done this loads of times - many of the labels tracks have been in the top 100 - but i think this time he thought **** it,im going for the number 1! :ROFLMAO:

Ahah, I had also written a post about it yesterday on the "currently listening" thread when I spotted it on the beatport chart - I'll move the post here with some additional considerations :D

I agree that either it's a "purchased ourselves" case or the people who bought it are all huge sky0cean fans :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I also wonder if the featured vocalist did realize how bad she sounds. Same goes for many other "vocalists" on minor trance labels (and sometimes even on some bigger ones). I'm no music expert whatsoever, but in some cases the vocals are so bad and out of tune that they really hurt my hears. Not everyone can have the Christina Novelli or Haliene voice, but this is the extreme opposite. How can the vocalist/producer/label owner not hear it???
Sometimes the producers realize this themselves and out of pity include a dub mix in the release (which usually still sounds bad but at least it's only the instrumental part).
I don't like to "bash" producers/vocalists/etc online., maybe they have the best intentions and think that they sound good (very hard to believe, but still....).
In any case please... if you can't sing, don't sing. It's just cringeworthy.

Okay, I noticed this track when I did my "research" for the other thread and also thought that it was unusually bad even for Beatport standards. It's not even "so bad that it's good"; it's just awful.
According to Daniel Sokolovskiy's blog, it takes just 30 purchases to get into a Beatport top 100. So yeah, spend the equivalent of a full meal for several people and you, too, can get your Beatport #1!!

Meme trance. I guess I like it. Solid spiritual successor to "Sky0cean - I believe in miracles in the ocan underneath the sky (Magic Miracle Tayle Vocal Mix)"

There was a super popular Solomun Remix of 'Pulverturm' and also a Tiesto Remix in last years. I even heard the Solomun version in small bar in my hometown where only commercial and radio music plays all the time, so I think the new versions really pushed up also the original.

'Meet her at the Love Parade' has a new techno version/bootleg every half year and even the big global djs play them on festivals.

Kosmo is a defunct label and they made a career in the commercial peak of electronic music in the late 90's, thanks to Tomcraft, Tom Novy, Da Hool or Eniac.. also the track 'Phil Fuldner - The Final' even made it in the TOP 10 of the German sales charts (thats maybe more than 50 000 sold copies) , so I don't want to believe that they need to purchase their own old releases, irrational.

Hmm this track does have millions of views on Youtube, so random people might in fact be buying this one on Beatport. Who knows, though, it could also be the label gaming the system.

I'd imagine everyone involved is probably tone-deaf (or close to it), with no formal music education.

The man is clearly after some gigs. He thinks he can invest a couple of bucks and it will all come back to him with gigs and touring. The sad (or in this case, wonderful) truth is that the scene is already overcrowded with producers being desperate for gigs. Plus he chose a genre in decline. Better bet was techno or something else.

It's either that, or he's an egomaniac.

I'm not even gonna bother with listening to this. I'm not giving him my view.
Sky0cean - I believe in miracles in the ocan underneath the sky (Magic Miracle Tayle Vocal Mix)
Congrats on referencing this track for the 100th time on the new forum!

Can we talk about the comments on Youtube??

The song touched my heart.

Amazing..This is a mind blowing song & the subtitle also

this music is so peaceful

Comfortable & relaxing music

Peaceful music

Where the hell are these people getting the idea that this is a "peaceful" song? Why does a song with just ~3k views already have 12 comments, with pretty much all of them praising it, the producer, and the video?
