@Gagi This was my favorite from her JK Revolution album, I was wondering if you're familiar with it, haha.
Also, that late 2000s energy is 🔥

Oh my god, the worst of the worst. She's the one who inspired all the talentless glam starlets-turned-singers. That beat is good though.

Also, what the fuck are you doing listening to her mate? Where'd you dig her out? 😂

It's one of those times when you go down the Wikipedia rabbit hole and you're suddenly in the best-selling albums by country page. Was just checking out the ones for Mexico and saw that the section for Serbia had 3 entries. Since it's from 2008 I thought it probably had that Lady Gaga-like electropop sound :p
Feel free to do the same for Mexico. The #1 is basically our Happy Birthday song, haha. You might have heard it before. If not, check it out! The singer has a pretty unique voice as he's one of the great singers from the 1950s.

If you go to ~2000 you'd have heard lots of crossovers between our pop-folk music, and electronic dance music (such as this, this and this; fun fact: I grew up listening to this singer), which might be more interesting to you. So there's Greek/Turkish influences with some riffs and instruments, which resemble flutes and the accordion, and of course the modern music of the time.

9dana is the bomb. Also heard this on autoplay, and it was pretty cool!

Haha yeah, 9 Dana (9 Days) starts like any commercial vocal trancer from back in the day. I'm still pretty fascinated at how I'm discussing music I grew up with with a guy on the opposite side of the globe.

Love that Mexican stuff you recommended (wish I could understand it though). Never heard the first track before, I love the style. Everything seems quite universal, really (and not in a bad way). Just music of its time. Only Hoy Platique Con Mi Gallo sounds like something I could really notice has Mexican influences.

Some of the big trance acts such as Chicane,Pvd,Tiesto,Armin all have one or several pop-rock tunes that I love from their albums.

Heres "Come Tomorrow" from Chicanes 2007 album which I remember got a bit of a slack back in the day (the album). Fun to go back now and listen,
