It's great to see Ricky back to the dark side! Don't get me wrong, I love the NEON trilogy but sometimes I felt we needed darker, more twisted, horror inducing sounds, similar to the 00.db, Serenade, and Witches material. That riff at 8:00 is vintage 00.db and so is the entire climax

Both tracks are fantastic, I just have a preference for Vigil precisely because it moves further away from that cathedral/synth sounds we've heard in the recent years. The acid stutter riffs in the final climax of Magic are amazing though

Extreme lenghts, less content....well, dont get me wrong...pretty solid tracks, but could have been shorter. there is not much going on in Magic the first 7 minutes...

Well, if you make tracks this long, make sure to create content for 16 minutes. Both tunes could be started from 8th minute or even later. Overall both are decent, but something is missing for me
