TDU Solar Crown is going to be pretty nice,
speaking from first hand experience ! 🙂

Something different than Forza and The Crew Motorfest.
Funnily enough, I never liked the driving style in the first TDU. It wasn't arcade-y enough for me, because I grew up on NFS. That said, the world exploration side of it was incredible. I could just cruise around for hours playing some nice music - didn't even have to race.

First hand experience meaning...?

Does anyone else watch other people do a videogame walkthrough on youtube as opposed to playing a game yourself? I find myself choosing to watch other people play vs playing a game myself that I might be interested in playing. Some games I absolutely have to play myself but then a lot of others id rather just watch someone else play and then I've experienced the game and do not need to play it.

I usually did the same until 2 months ago as I finally bought myself a good gaming device.

Now I also started streaming games from time to time here, although I still need to buy myself proper equipment for streaming and update something.

Now I definitely want to hear more!

I wish I could tell more, but I've signed an NDA which prohibits the testers from sharing any information. It implies legal action against those who break the agreement.

Looking forward to the finished game!

TDU was a little rough in that regard, but TDU2 somehow went a little much in the opposite direction. Neither of them had quite the boat-like driving physics of baseline GTA 4 though. Wasn't a fan of those at all.

Interested to see what they'll do with Solar Crown. Hopefully it'll not have paywalled stupidity or gatcha mechanics (like say, NFS Paycheck Payback).

You know I have noticed that Age of Empires 1 soundtrack sounded more powerful when I first heard it back in 1998 - 2002. I don't think it's has anything to do with growing old I remember like it was yesterday. I think it could be do with the sound drives. Anyone come across this before? I just can't put my finger at it. I wish I had the old version I had to compare it and I don't think my memory is that bad because other songs are feeling the same like they used when I first heard in fact I can hear more and have greater appreciation for them.

Finally started playing Baldur's Gate 3. I'm quite familiar with tactical RPGs and Larian as developers (played both Divinities), but was quite overwhelmed by BG's mechanics. After some hours spent with it I'm slowly getting accustomed to it.

Lately I'm playing Dishonored 2 a lot and having a lot fun with it. That game is build very well and the story is pretty good to.
The soundtrack isn't the best ever but it is still very enjoyable and it suits the game so well.
Also playing a lot of other somewhat older games like the watchdog series, the Witcher 3, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed and so on.

Nowadays I actually enjoy playing single player games a lot more than online multiplayer.

Just started paying Baulders Gate 3 and so far really liking it. Hard but addictive! No idea how anything works in terms of game mechanics but hopefully pick it up after a while.
