Earlier, games were more story-driven and single-player centered. Nowadays, it's all about micro-transactions, custom packs, DLC, and battle royales, among other things. Remember, when COD 2 or 4 was released. Those are the games that people still remember to date.

Battlefield should be called Bugfield. It's caked in code bugs. Barely playable at times and sometimes funny.

I had so much hope for it.

Sadly, it did not meet your expectations. GTA Trilogy, Cyberpunk 2077, and some other recent games experienced the same fate. They release games in an under-cooked and undeveloped state, causing people to dislike rather than like them. Before launching the game, they must first ensure that it is playable. Otherwise, they will gain a negative image and ultimately lose money. This is one of the reasons why consumers now a days get hesitant to pre-order games.

the game is addicting but the music plays the main role here, if you think about it, you will answer that the game is not addictive, but the music <3

Currently going through Code Vein - a fun game and not too difficult. A japanese souls like game with lots of build variation and cool enemies. Just about half-way through it and having a lot of fun playing it.

After that I'll most likely try to tackle either Tales of Arise or Halo Infinite (Campagn)

listen at 1:23:40 blow me emotionally

I don't even know and I don't know if there's a whole symphony behind it or if there's one guy behind the computer screen

I like Japanese RPG from an early age, this is the title that eluded me

generally Japanese RPGs are famous for their brilliant sound tracks. good time to dig a few

I play ps 5 so hello I won't shoot but the tales of arise promises to be great

Whose been playing Halo Infinite? The multiplayer is so much fun, Halo might be the funnest multiplayer ever made. I'm very addicted to it right now.

This new Harry Potter game looks stunning. I'm not even a harry potter nerd (I swear). Who remembers the old games back on PC/Playstation, those we great.

I recently finished Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. For me, it was one of the most surprising games of 2021. I didn't expect this game to be so enjoyable.
It reminded me of the game Mass Effect.

My spare time is Football Manager ... 😐
When you play FM, all your time becomes spare time. One of the most addictive games I've ever played, almost hypnotizes you into playing it all the fucking time.

I'm in year 2049 with Doncaster Rovers...lockdown was precious FM time for the Rovers. I'm playing on the 2017 edition.

I don't even want to check from Steam how much time I have spent playing different versions of Football Manager. Okay, it has been on the background for quite some time of course but still, that amount is massive.

Any of you nerds also playing Elden Ring? Fucking quality game, but really need to complete it so I can live my life again.

Yep! Been playing it (slowly) over the last 6 weeks. I'm taking my time and exploring as much as possible. Don't wanna just rush to the end, cause there is just so much to discover. The world is immense.

I just reached the Altus Plateau area and making my way through it now. Loving the game so far.
