Tim French's 'Lost Angel' remix of 'Tracks in Crimson Dust' (LOST181) picked up a lot of love for it's old school trance-breaks approach, but for his full EL-EL debut we have the 4/4 'Kamino Static', a tough n' tight moroder-esque workout that straddles the bar between electro house and prog trance.

Last year we released Otto K's 'Motion in Emotion / Sea of Souls' (LOST182) and we've got more on the way from him in 2023, the first of which is this beautiful, progressive-psy-tinged remix of Tim's original. Gated riffs, delicate melodies, and dubbed out drums = total atmosphere.

In 2014 QOOB remixed Freesoup's 'We Who Have' (LOST130) and after a NINE YEAR break we're more than happy to welcome them back, with a rumbling tribal prog remix that keeps things deep and vibey in all the right ways.

And after TEN YEARS / 53 releases we've give the artwork a Vaughan Oliver / 23 Envelope inspired facelift. Expect textural decay, macro mould, lichen, blood and skin cells, as together we sail headlong into a brand new world without matter.

EL-EL - 2023

A really nice set of atmospheric prog tracks here.

Qoob remix is pick of the bunch for me with that breakdown. The Otto K prog psytrance vibes are also very nice.

Really enjoying this, do love El-El releases, Ben's such a legend at selecting great stuff to put out. Not sure on order of mix preference yet though - think it might be the Qoob one that wins for me, but they're all good IMO.

Edit: The darkness of the Otto K one is growing on me :)

both the original an woob just has this aggresive and really like close to your eardrum pressence sound-design i dont fancy. the otto remix is atleast a little smoother/subtle in comparision. Especially the drums. Good dark-er vibe in all of them though.

All terrible . Zero flow. What the f happened to the flow i modern trance? Had to calm my nerves with questia . Nexus Asia after playing these. The rhythms are so bad. Seriously where the f-cking flow and drive?

Yeah, static is a perfect description

I like the musical content in the Qoob remix, like those little perc touches and the flirting melodies. Its really nice. Just let down quite badly by sound design, which sounds very sterile. I didnt feel a huge drive/hytmn issue, but yeah could have more drive and would probably help. Honestly, think if it had a less modern and/or better sound it could be really nice.

Otto mix has nice atmosphere but really no drive to it and found it a bit boring ultimately.
