All this keeps posing the question to me - if one of your favourite ever solo singer/producers was ousted as a peado or raped someone - would you stop listening to their music forever??

I'd definitely stop choosing these tracks into my playlist.

I have a few russian-made tracks in my top favourites list, but I'm not intentionally listening to them anymore.

If I heard it somewhere randomly live I'd have a mixed feeling of "oh, love this track" and "meh, this guy's paying taxes which go into killing ukrainians". So it's a question which is hard to answer.

Yeah let's please refrain from using insulting language directed towards others, and just agree on the fact that nobody (besides the powerful, the ones who profit and the general psychopathic, bad and severely indoctrinated people) wants war and tragedy inflicted towards other people. The vast majority of us hope this ends as soon as possible, whether we say it out loud or not.

I would personally guide myself by the "innocent until proven guilty" saying and trust that most (Russians especially, and others) also want the war to end, however I am not in your position (when I kind of was, I was 4 years old at the time so I had a pretty limited perspective, if any).

taxes, especially this dictatorial context, is theft. My father in law who currently resides in Lithuania found this out the hard way.

Don’t think it is fair to say any Russian not speaking out against is ‘for’ the invasion.

As much as I dislike the government here in the UK, I know that any criticisms I aim at them in public is not going to land me in any serious trouble.

It’s easy from afar to demand people stand up, but if the potential consequences for doing so are at best being arrested or having your career finished & at worst being forcibly shipped off to a Wagner Group unit on the front, it’s understandable why some choose to stay silent.

That doesn’t excuse non-Russians travelling over there for gigs though imo.

24th of February there's gonna be a trance party in Moscow with another headliner from outside the terrorist country - Last Soldier.

Shahab Shuli aka Last Soldier is an uplifting trance producer from Iran, who is being released on quite popular labels and their sublabels - Armada, Black Hole, Mondo Records, Enhanced, Raz Nitzan Music, Amsterdam Trance Records and many more.

Also you can hear his stuff at almost every popular trance radioshow, with having support from the most known artists in the scene.

But again he's from Iran, a country which supplies Russia with suicide and combat drones against Ukrainian military, energetic infrastructure and civilians, so that's not a big surprise seeing him there...

So a little update regarding Trancemission Festival in Moscow I've mentioned earlier in this thread.

The festival is not cancelled, and Heatbeat, Philippe el Sisi are STILL GOING TO PERFORM in April for a country which attacks Ukraine on a daily basis, causing problems for the whole world.

They will play in Moscow and Saint Petersburg 14th and 15th of April 2023.

On the video below which was made 30th of December 2022 (apologies for being slow with these news) you can see Heatbeat wishing ruscists a Happy New 2023 Year and how he can't wait to perform for them in April 2023. "Russia - here we go" says Matias....



And something else I can't be silent about - tomorrow, 17th of March, a well-known german artist Alex M.O.R.P.H is releasing a track with russian artist Roman Messer on a russian label Suanda Music (yep, the same guy who released a M.I.K.E Push rip-off on his label and then took it off after Mike's statement).
