Enigmatic is truly excellent. This would have been played on ASOT in 2001 / 2002 / 2003 / 2004 for sure.

If they skip it now, then they really just disqualify their show altogether. It's as simple as that.

I know, my brains just occasionally goes into some kind of irrational protective mode and starts to overanalyse stuff. Maybe over the years I developed a defensive mechanism against bad reworks or something :D I know I should just "feel" the tracks as if I would be in the club, but well, it does not always happen just like that for me.

However as I mentioned, I just needed some more listens. In My Fantasy is not my cup of tea, the breakdown just isn't the stuff I like (I have always been more into a proggier stuff than epic uplifting anyway). But Enigmatic is a different beast. It has a atmosphere from somewhere like 2003 but it builds up very nicely and as you @Hensmon said, everything fits in nicely. Something that could very easily stand next to let's say Fictivision vs. C-Quence - Symbols and be proud of itself.
Hey were all human arent we :) We cant all like the exact same things. I respect your view totally. Whats been very interesting about this project is that we have seen a real hard split between people on the two tracks. Some love the A side, other love the B side more. Im proud though that ive managed to create something where it has a really nice split in opinion and for those who like yourself arent shouting about the A side, have really taken to the B side so a job well done id say. Really glad you like Enigmatic. Its a very different journey to In My Fantasy, if anything more of a journey as it takes you through very different elements and phases through the track.
Really appreciate the support though on this you everyone here. Thanks mate :)

Well, ive not heard anything back from ASOT so im going to guess its a no from them. Not EDM enough maybe? - Who knows.

Lange is likely to play it on his show tonight (I think!) - I spoke to him on message and his words was "You made this on hardware only! - Incredible!!"
So heres hoping he gives it a spin tonight!

But that said, as a humble person, ive had more enjoyment interacting with what I would say is the important people, the listeners. Over the course of the last 8-10 months, ive had so much reach and contact from people in many countries all over the globe with comments about how they loved the music, that it took them back to a time in their life, they've never felt so much joy at a new track etc....and im truely touched by it! As I listener myself I understand the feeling of hearing something and it really connecting with you on a deeper level, so for me to do that for someone else is a real proud moment!
And in that case,....who needs ASOT? - Although it would be nice for a play of course ;)

Fits in perfectly mate and loved the melody of Netherworld mixing in with the intro section. Great mix, and thanks for supporting!

Bought the EP for above the 'sticker price' as it were, on Bandcamp. I know you can pay more, but as far as I'm concerned the 'default' pricing is downright criminal given the amount of work that's gone into both tracks.

Never thought I'd hear this particular sound again, and certainly not done so well. Hats off to everybody involved.

Of the two, In My Fantasy is my favorite. The intro for Enigmatic is my favorite bit of the B side, and the melody is certainly reminiscent of Dutch Force's Deadline, as somebody said a few pages back. Ain't a bad thing, though.

Listening to these in full now as I'm setting up my MasterCard on eBanking.

In My Fantasy is so good, it's just awesome to listen to it. The sounds are ALL there, the arrangement too. It truly does feel like an unadulterated '99 banger. Truth be told, I'm always expecting a twist, something more, something less expected, but ultimately love how it does everything right, even if straightforwardly so. Even love how you twist those filters after the end of the 2nd climax. A simple thing, really, but makes it much more awesome. The entire outro is phenomenal, actually. You could've easily gone for a DJ-friendly outro, but fuck 'em!

Enigmatic...well, I might even like it more. In fact, I do. It feels like a much more serious tune, something we would hear from ASOT (the label) in its early years. Fuck me, near 12 minutes got by so fast! It can stand proudly shoulder-to-shoulder with the best from the era which it feels a part of.

You've managed to show just how this type of style and sound is missed, and just what the reaction to this from the listeners is. And I mean that about TC as much as about ES. I really do hope this becomes as successful as possible and producers realize how much better this is from most of the stuff out there. And what the recipe is for standing out - making good music.
