You do realize that this show was made by Netflix, for Netflix? It's brand new.I'd never heard of Squid Game until it was available on Netflix to be honest

I mean the hype for it before it released. I hadn't heard anything about Squid Game in the build up to its releaseYou do realize that this show was made by Netflix, for Netflix? It's brand new.
Thanks. I really tried to have a different contrast of sound between both tracks. Enigmatic is basically an 'en8gmatic journey' tha start is soft and melodic and then it moves into the main track.I actually like the Enigmatic track more.
What an energy in that one.
The best achievement is: it doesnt sound like a specific “Hero” from back then. It sounds pretty authentic.
I will support a digital release for sure. The scene needs more of this.
There actually wasn't a hype (before the release). It's made by "Netflix Korea" and internationally this ammount of succes wasn't counted on. So it's a suprise for Netflix too.I mean the hype for it before it released. I hadn't heard anything in the build up to it.
That was an early teaser where it was purposely rough and put some fake vinyl noise over it. The video initially was put on as ID - ID (1999) to see how much people thought it was a genuine track from 1999 - if you read through the comments on the video and sort by Oldest you'll see what I mean , but it was all part of the plan.In my fantasy is lot better compared to the other track. Reminds me of Trance from 2002 it even sounds like it's a set from 2001 - 2003 which is rare.
EDIT: Why does this version sound scratchy compared to the radio mix?
I agree. This thread shows it's possible to have the old "joy" of having to wait for something special. It's good.
Exactly! Nearing 200 backers now, so we are making some good progress in the first couple of daysThere actually wasn't a hype. It's made by "Netflix Korea" and internationally this ammount of succes wasn't counted on. So it's a suprise for Netflix too.
Anyway, let's keep it ontopic about your new tracks (note to self).
you'll see what I mean
That's EXACTLY what is happening here.I like it.
These days we're so used to getting "what we want" > "right now".
Squid Game is a nice example. Just put your tv on > Netflix > start. Two days later, the joy is over when you binged the thing. Ready for the next thing.

I did read through the comments there was nothing about the track having a fake vinyl noise just a bunch of people asking you send it to Lange and Thrillseekers and how good the track is and what not. I'd be interested to know if you have sent this to Armin and Ruben and Solarstone as well what they think of it.That was an early teaser where it was purposely rough and put some fake vinyl noise over it. According to Qrates we can actually go over the 300 if the demand is there, but 300 is the target we'd set and that we felt was probably most realistic for this first time project. Is it limited to 300 copies, or will you press more if there are more than 300 backers?

The females voices is actually my 2 daughters, both credited on the track tooI really love both tracks. In My Fantasy sounds so oldschool with those female vocals (like a little Floyd - Come 2 Gether)
Enigmatic melody is awesome. I really appreciate your support of trance music
