Trance tracks with unique/interesting samples and instruments

What are some samples/instruments that have made a trance track stand out to you?

I'll get us started with John O'Callaghan - Centurion [2011]. 42 seconds in JOC used special "reverse" high-hats that sound different compared to regular trance high-hats. I don't think I've heard anything like them in any other trance track. The reverse high-hats elevate Centurion from a regular square-synth tech-trancer to something memorable.

Sorry I don't know the name of the effect but this one is cool it goes from one ear to the other. You need a good sound system and or headset to hear the full effects
