Submitted. I would have liked to do top 20, because after around 8 my suggestions become more unknown and deep. Those underground ones are deserving on any end of year list.

Do people here think it was a good year? I have only a few Uplifting tracks saved but the clean sounding stuff from Activa, Mac & Monday and R&D label was really nice. Now with Borderline making a return we will get more of that. Did Thrillseeker release any tracks, his is also clean as it comes.

We will still be including tracks that are deserving but might not have been voted for in a top 10. The voting will add some additional sorting and help us find any that we missed.

Voted. Activa's been my man this year. So pumped for Borderline to come back, hopefully ushering in more MnM, Datt, Magnus, Dopping etc.

I think it's been good. I liked all the albums that came out and enjoyed the Pure Compilations a lot. Tri-state series Pt 2 and 3 were some of the best EP's to come out of Trance in ages and we saw lot of big names returning. I think if Armin and A&B can start pushing more Trance stuff we can see a change.

Origins vs N3ON

Digital Blonde all the way. How he managed to make 16 minute tracks not seem un interesting or over-drawn is rad as hell. Nothing better than having something that continues to get better on the 5th, 6th, 7th listen. You can keep looking and finding more in the tracks. Runner up album is Artifact 303's, very underrated and worth listening to if you want that more hard hitting session.

My top 10 also submitted but will likely will edit it before the deadline. I don't think this year was strong for Trance, but about 25-35 tracks in my collection are dope. Will keep searching as I missed many no doubt. JOOF label really disappointed me this year, Forescape is now the go to for the underground sounds. Thanks @Enlusion

There are lots of good releases this year. It's hard to rank them, but decided to vote just by how memorable they are.

This was more fun to put together than I thought it would be. There was a decent amount of good music released this year, especially once you add in the albums released by Artifact303 and Ovnimoon.
It was great re-exploring what made trance great.

Submitted mine.

Decided to just pick the first 10 tracks that have stuck with me over the year. I have a habit of overthinking these things so have gone with my first choice and will stick with it.
Couple of them are not technically 'trance' but they have that vibe to me, so I've included them anyway.

I only voted 5 since I was out of the new trance music loop for most of the year. I really was tempted to include some deep/progressive, but wanted to keep it only trance

York - Everything Changes
Song was amazing, pretty much no other contenders this year, reminded me of classic York and classic ATB songs

Ferry Tayle - Smile
A classic uplifting song at 134, pretty much the only possible contender

Pavel Koreshkov - Power Of Chords
His releases on Suanda Progressive were pretty good, had a hard time deciding which song

Simon Gregory - Another Day
Song has the right mix of Anjunabeat and Cosmic Gate vibe

Ronski Speed - Greyskull
I just like it.

I decided to vote only for label - Suanda Music. One of the last labels trying to keep progressive trance alive

Voted. Best album and best comp were quite difficult, nothing really stood out to me.

I'll be honest and say that initially I wanted to include Ashley Wallbridge's album (Ready For Life) and some of its songs in the results, but I know I would have been crucified :ROFLMAO: Therefore I didn't include it. Still an excellent album if you like those cheesy, euro vocal trance sounds though!

Just a little continuation of my post. My beatport rewind just came out. I dived into deeper electronic this year for sure.

Jesus, how is that possible? Where/how do you track that to know it's that amount. I assume thats a mix of all genres?
