TranceFix Radio #11 - Still Breathing II - Mixed by Enlusion

The madlad, the myth, the legend is back at it. He's the owner of Forescape Digital and one of the best looking guys in his city with hair to match, muscles as Hulk and a face to die for. But we are not here to talk about Kirill Smirnov, better known as Enlusion - we are here to talk about his new mix!

Back in October he created our fifth episode, Still Breathing and now he's back at it again with.... drum roll please... Still Breathing Part II ! I know, who saw that one coming, am I right!? His last episode was focused on the underground world of Progressive House, Trance and Techno and this definitely feels like a natural next evolution of that. Expect some absolutely beautiful tracks from the likes of Enlusion himself, Rock Pier O'Neil, Coredata, a couple of wonderful mashups and some amazing exclusives, JUST FOR YOU! A truely fantastic mix, just the way we like it.

Thanks for the kind words mister! Looks like I dodged the banhammer as this one got posted. I hope Trancefix-people will enjoy this one. Tons of exclusive material here from me plus a few creative mash-ups.
No worries! Hens told me to stay civil and look at our previous description for inspiration - as you can see, I did none of that

That was outstanding. Even better than part 1 and thank you for including exclusives as that always makes for a better listen.

Cheers man for the feedback! Really appreciate it. Yeah, this one doesn't have a long intro unlike the part 1 and I like it more myself :)

Great episode. This is by far the type of Trance that works the most for me at the moment.

Really fun stuff @Enlusion. The mashups give the mix a nice drive that some of this deeper stuff can sometimes lack. Always love hearing If I Don't Come Home, one of Facade's best productions/remixes IMO. Scratches my darker deep itch very nicely!

Thank you!

If I Don't Come remix is my favorite Facade's production to date, it has a depth and meaning, fits the title as well.

Listened to both Pt 1 and Pt 2 today back to back today. The second half of this mix is sublime, but whole thing was really great. I actually think part 1 is better because it felt more banging, with more energy in total. Still my favorite radio episode to date.

I think Forescape releases and 'deep trance' in general is much better when the harder energy and drive is there, in contrast to the slower prog with standard beat arrangements. Thats part of why I like following UTE and co, because I also classify it as somewhat deep trance, but its more likely to have energy and feel less standard. I rarely find it flat and predictable the same way JOOF records can come across today. Trance can be deep but still have slamming and driving momentum.

Thanks for the great feedback! I can see what music resonates with you the most. Unfortunately, UTE stuff is not doing it for me for the most part and there's nothing I can do with it. I wish people produced more driving Deep Trance tracks but they're afraid to do it, they just stick to what JOOF and Co. plays.

I seriously miss producers like Relaunch, Anton Chernikov, Cosmithex, Perry O'Neil, Vibrasphere, Oliver Prime, Rex Mundi and others. I tried to contact all of them. I even tried to contact Airwave last week and asked him if he would be interested to produce some driving Trance for me.

You have no idea how difficult it is to just get a simple reply from the artists these days. The ego can be skyhigh even in the underground world. I have good conversations with Martin Roth and Stoneface & Terminal in my mailbox, but a lot lesser names ignore the unique, personally written e-mails. It's just ridiculous sometimes.

Hopefully this new Deep Trance genre on Beatport will change the things for the better.

Yeah dude I would totally love to see names that are more accustomed to 'normal' trance just dip into some serious or deep stuff. Like the comment from @HTY mentions It would be great if we can see more drive in the deep trance world, and I think using artists like stoneface & terminal would be a good experiment to see how they interpret it. Airwave too, although I think his taste has clearly changed now. Oliver Prime I think would fit nicely on Forescape.
