Trend of Comatose Progressive House/Organic House music

This is a trend I have noticed that most of the organic house. To me all of the tracks here sound the same with the same percussions and flat line stuff nothing groovy just sound like they've been stripped away of life and the groove and melody and they don't have any heavy emotions in them either just weak emotional house tracks. It's a trend I have observed across the board in progressive house/organic house when did dance music become comatose music?

you shouldn't fixate on big labels, they always play it safe. the more releases a label puts out, the more similar they sound. try labels that have a maximum of six releases per year.

I wouldnt mind that kind of music if it was playing in a bar while i was drinking beer next to a Mediterrean pool....it suits a certain situation

I would just leave if they played this at a bar or a restaurant or whatever. There is nothing enticing or hypnotic or nothing that draws me to it just bleh

It's sad to see Martin Roth producing that but people age and drop out. Is this the same as enthralling athletes who go out and play golf? Something that is devoid of meaning and any sort of life and just exist there.

Yeah, it's mostly just music to put on as background noise.

Kind of like those lo-fi beats. Lots of people listen to it while studying or working, and it helps them focus.

Which isn't bad - just don't expect this sort of thing to be as engaging as you're probably used to.
