Trian - Ascendant [Forescape Digital]

Perhaps this one was discussed on the old forum, but since I couldn't find it here, I found this deserves attention in the year 2020.
The melody in this track has a really powerful and yet double effect.
There is something euphoric, uplifting to it, while another part is dark and melancholic. Magically, all of this is captured in the same melody.
Wonderful chord changes with a thumping basskick beneath.
Only few releases give me these chills anymore. One to remember from 2020.

Nice, I missed this one

The melody is excellent and has an old skool feel about it to me. The thing that could be improved in this track is the flow as it tends to stop-start too much. Overall a solid release though, something to play early on in a set before the energy is ramped up.

 

[Daysleeper]

Another one that sound like 2 min intro extened to a full track.

I call it lazy , even lousy arrangement, unfortunaly.

 

[Manofearth]

Enjoy it myself for what it is. It has haunting feeling that I like. The rising drums in the centre for the climax are a little off putting, slightly cheap sounding like festival stuff but it didnt ruin the track for me.

Nice this , but the snare build doesnt go for me either. Agree with @Manofearth
