Hailing from South Korea, this little-known “techno” song was the opener for Korean pop star Uhm Jung Hwa’s 2000 album Queen of Charisma. This is one of the rare combinations of trance with pop music while still feeling like trance. There aren’t many vocals in here other than a few ad libs by Uhm Jung Hwa. Most prominent here is a male voice that almost feels like guided meditation, and then a pretty typical early 2000s “come on and shake to the rhythm of the beat” throughout the track.
It’s a pretty good song IMO and wouldn’t have been out of place in a 1999 trance DJ set.
