Hey guys, first release of the year is here! This time we happily dipped the toes into more cheesy care-free sounds found in late 90s and early 00's, alongside some German and hard-trance influences. Definitely stepped out of my own listening comfort zone with these, but I think @unitedtrancedivision has absolutely nailed the feeling and essence of a specific sound, and with an awesome rich and textured old-school flavor that I have a feeling others will enjoy too. Appreciate the listens and support!

Thank you for the big support! I am really happy to release here and hope that the one or other will like this kind of style. Greetings from germany to all of you!

PS: I added this one to Discogs too and will replace the Coverart once fixed @Hensmon ;)

Enjoyed these this morning, even though the style is not completely my cup of tea. Well put together and very straightforward tunes.

Congrats with this release! Enjoying both tracks equally.

@Hensmon , why did you have to step out of your listening comfort zone? These aren't that different from let's say Enigmatic State imo. When you wrote German Hard Trance i expected something much harder then these.
Don't worry, our next release will be by Oliver Lieb and Hensmon will say it forced him back inside of his listening comfort zone because it reminds him of Castle In The Sky by Ian van Dahl

Dont find myself listening to Trance that feels towards the cheesier side of the spectrum. I think these have a more commercial feel that was found in the 90s. Just about right amount for me with this one, but dont go actively looking for styles like this. I agree its not full hard-trance but definitely some sounds used that remind me of that genre. Glad you enjoyed it!

Mmm, a bit on the fence with these. Really a mixed bag of sounds in there, and the intro and outro still feels in the demo-phase imo, in god of dreams. And the stucture feels a bit loose and demo-ish aswell, doesnt really tie together properly. It feels like different parts was kind of sloppily put together and with a lack of proper development somehow. And also on the fence if the piano really fits in this type of tune. I like the overall "trancy" flow of it when all the different elemtens run together, but yeah, really not sure on the piano and bell aswell.

The Lost Horizon feels very midi-ish and also kinda demo-like unfortunaly. This keyboard melody sounds like some you would hear sash creating in the late 90s almost. And the piano sounds very flat and "fake" sorry to say, like a cheap keyboard preset. Its a litte better stucturally though and the flow is ok in this. Outro again sounds like i came directly from the demo-phase.

Nah, not a fan of this release sorry guys. Checking in again with the next on though.

I appreciate the sounds but this style is not really for me. Props to the nice synths and textures. I wish most modern trance had at least type of feel to the sound. If this technique was done in old M.I.K.E style it could be v good.

There are some likeable elements within God Of Dreams which I understand was quite heavily inspired by Nunca - Ballistique (God Of Dreamland Remix), but its that harsh bass that doesn't sit right with me right from the beginning. I don't think it really fits in with what otherwise feels like a dreamy sort of Trance track as the title might also suggest.

Something much warmer and less gritty bass wise would've made a big difference to this for me.

Dig these dudes. Honestly I think the classic sounds here rock and for that alone I grant you 1 star. I wish that acid noise in GoD was a more prominent and probably the tubular bells a little less so, but I dont mind them. Lost Horizon reminds me of happy go lucky Kai Traicid works.
