That one shocked me to my core. One of the greats for sure.

Ha, everything has been delayed. It's hurting them so much so that even Bond's No Time To Die was considered being sold to streaming services such as Netflix for 600 million dollars. But it won't happen, because that's a movie for the big screen.

I don't care really, maybe we get less blockbusters and more really interesting movies, storywise. I go to cinemas like once in every couple of years, and those have been Bond's last two films and F7 (because of Paul).

I would be so happy if we got more Parasites and less superhero movies

Crank (2006) and Crank: High Voltage (2009)

GTA on steroids.

The premise is so crazy that it actually works really well, better than most Jason Statham movies and F&F, for instance. Here, they had an insane premise, and just went to town with it. The 2nd one includes quite a lot of satire as well. The movie knows what it is, doesn't hide it and it's excellent because of it.

Unhinged
What a hilarious bad script. The main character was dumber than a gold fish and the overall reasoning for pretty much anything or everything was non-existant. It gets two points because of fat Russell Crowe and one for a hot female character (Caren Pistorius)

Just watched Last And First Men

Wow, what a movie - I honestly can't remember the last time a movie made me think like this one. The movie is based on a sci-fi novel by Olaf Stapledon and tells the story of how humans evolved over the span of 2 billion years into the future where all hope is lost and the last men look back upon its own species with loss and regret.
It's the directorial debut of Johann Johannsson, who sadly passed away in 2018 and the whole movie is told through his amazing score and Tilda Swinton who narrates the story. We never see any characters in the movie and it's almost like a visual audiobook filled with amazing cinematography of concrete architecture and mesmerizing, futuristic and almost nihilistic designs.
This is definitely not for everyone, I would even say, this is a movie most people will leave disappointed, but god damn did it ever make me feel and think; What an experience and if you ever get the chance of watching it, go to the biggest screening available with the loudest speakers.

This is kinda nice for some movies you want to see but maybe not worth it in a theater. But watching a movie at home doesn't compare to the experience of watching it on a real IMAX screen. I want to go see DUNE in IMAX first before i buy it on bluray. I couldn't care if theaters close just as long as some exist that have IMAX.

Saw Tenet, finally, as the various IMAX (16:9!!!) copies surfaced all over the interwebz.

It's definitely not predictable, it made me interested in what's gonna happen next, made me turn on my brain cells a bit. The score was pretty fitting. Don't know what Pattison's doing in it though. Don't think his acting was that good to be honest.

Also not the best Nolan movie, but at least it's somewhat unique.

I rewatched Arnold's Eraser from 1996. I owned official VHS back in the days. Im rewatching all those older movies I liked as a kid, because back then I missed some details and jokes.

Frank Herbert’s Son Visited ‘Dune’ Set and Said It’ll ‘Forever Be the Definitive Adaptation’

Brian Herbert, son of legendary “Dune” author Frank Herbert, had one major takeaway after visiting the Budapest set of Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming adaptation of his father’s science-fiction epic: “It will forever be considered the definition adaptation” of the book (via Inverse). Villeneuve’s “Dune” is backed by Legendary and Warner Bros. and features a star-studded cast that includes Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Mamoa, Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista, and Stellan Skarsgard. The film was originally scheduled to open in theaters December 18, but the pandemic pushed the tentpole into October 2021.
