This trailer made me hard as a fucking rock, holy shit. This looks sooooo fucking fantastic and having read the book it seems like Villeneuve absolutely nailed it. God damnit I can't wait for this one!

Kundun (1997)

Finally completed Scorsese's unofficial religious movie trilogy. This one might be the weakest of the three. It's not really that imaginative with the script and there's no way to connect with the characters; it's feels more like a historical account. That said, it's still a nice viewing.

Draft Day (2014)

What do you want me to say, it's a movie that is set on the day of the NFL Draft and shows all the shit that happens during that day (leading up to it and at the start of it) - in a fictional setting of course (fake coaches, fake players, fake staff but real clubs). If you like that sort of thing, it's really entertaining; it's just a typical drama otherwise, only set in the NFL world.

Space Jam: A New Legacy

Why? Because I absolutely hate my life. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had - fuck this movie, fuck everything it represents and fuck this whole fucking Hollywood thing of remaking older movies.

I just finished Transformers: War for Cybertron Kingdom on netflix last night. It was pretty fantastic. Great adaptation of Transformers and Beast Wars if you like the franchise.

The Guard (2011)

Such a refreshing movie! It's a cop comedy drama, but really done with taste. There's not too much of anything. Brendan Gleeson really shines here as the main actor, his character is brilliant.
Again, last night. Still managed to crack me up good.

Jackie Brown (1997)

Bit soft by Tarantino standards, not one of his best. Still, was alright.

Hereditary. It broke me. Not that big of a fan of horror movies (used to be when i was young) but had to see it. It is so much different than the rest that is out there. It actually plays with your emotions. Not only is it scary, in a different way , but you get depressed when watching it. There is so much going on that you will experience a bunch of different emotions. Horror, grief, insanity and so on. An i LOVE the sound effects they used, especially when Charlie decapitated the Pigeon. That Slow string sound that slides to another chord with that reversed violin/fiddle sound really set the mood. I'm a sucker for certain sounds that sets the mood so had to mention that. And, .. that scene with the car when Charlie gets sick.. THAT one is so hard to watch! Poor Charlie ☹️ The movie is quite unique imo that it is not a typical horror movie with its usual jumpscares and what not, but it features a dysfunctional family with a lot of problems, grief, mental problems, unknowing > the mother especially, the creepy omnious background music/drone, the demon King Paimon which i'd never heard of until this movie which got me interested in the rest of the demons from The Lesser Key Of Solomon The Lesser Key of Solomon - Wikipedia. I loved that you never actually got to see the demon (King Paimon) but instead we got those blue-white orbs. Something should stay mysterious in my opinion. Well that is my thought on Hereditary. A movie that broke me psychologically and how horror movies should be made. Anyone seen this?

Yeah that one was actually pretty good indeed. Much better than his last one though, which was shit.

Harakiri/Seppuku (1962)

Seriously one of the best movies I've ever seen. It's very simple in its premise and story, yet it hits on so many levels. Not a single move feels out of place, let alone a shot or a scene. And it just sucks you in, you just want to know what happens next, you get more and more invested. The scenography and camerawork are brilliant - also very simple, but for a B&W movie, amazing. Pretty universal as well. It's just a primer on how to make great movies and for me, one of the greats.
It's really telling when I come back to a movie and watch it again in a span of just a couple of months. I can't really emphasize enough how great it really is. Really one of the best movies ever made.

Anyone ever watch Babylon 5? I'm about to watch the two prequel movies and then start watching the remaster of the series. I have never watched the show before.
