I think, we will have a great Batman movie in film noir style. The dark detective aspects of the trailer, the Batsuit that looks handmade or the Batmobile that looks like a Ford- Muscle Car, betray that this will be a very grounded movie. Probaly even more realistic than what Christopher Nolan called "Hyperrealism" in his Trilogy.
Matt Reeves is probaly inspired by the Comic "The long Halloween" which was also source of inspiration for Jonathan Nolan and David S. Goyer (highly recommended).

I am really looking forward to seeing Batman grow in his 2nd year. I am almost convinced of the cast. Zoe Kravitz maked me doubt something, but she will prove me wrong.

I'm pretty sure he said he took inspirated from The Long Halloween and Year One by Frank Miller - two pretty awesome comic book stories

I would love to see a horror-r-rated version with Scarecrow. Imagine the horrors you could tell with fear gas

Saw Tenet. Possibly one of the worst blockbuster films in the last 10+ years, I truly mean it. It is so so generic its almost beyond belief. From the characters, the dialogue, the directing, the story. Utterly boring, predictable or cliche in its ideas and execution, I cant believe Nolan had his hands on this. Even the 'unique' sci-fi element was so stupid, poorly handled or just uninteresting. Even without the countless plot-holes it was just a mess of bullshit with characters entering Southpark esque dialogues to deliver contrived explanations of the sci-fi to the audience, about things like 'inverting', 'algorithms', 'reverse time travel' 'catalysmic encounters with your un-inverted self 'car bombs becoming freeze bombs' 'capsules that end the world'. In fact it felt like watching that Southpark episode where they take the piss of Inception. I rate it a 3.5/10. The acting was bad to standard (main character was likeable enough), the was script atrocious, the bad guy forgettable, main characters uninteresting and demanded no emotional investment and the music was obnoxious and cliche. Atmosphere non-existent, no personality, no pace and no originality.

This film reminds me of how bad things have got in cinema, specifically big budget films. Our standards of what we deem quality has dropped so low that people actual rate this movie or find it acceptable. We have forgotten what good actually looks like so when something like Tenet comes along with a flashy director and familiar cast, packaged with a edgy/sexy trailer and marketing we are mentally conned, even as we watch the mediocracy unfold in front of our eyes in the cinema. Make standards great again.

I thought Tenet was ok. It definitely was not one of Christopher Nolan's best movies, that's for sure. It felt overly complex for the sake of being complex. Id still give it a 6.5/10.

Hah! I knew it would be bad from watching the trailer. Felt really stupid.

Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm (2020)

Just nowhere near the first one. It doesn't have that shock factor anymore, and when you think about it, it seems a bit fake. Had a couple of laughs and that's it.
