The 90's version is so classic. It's a product of it's time and can't really be replicated like it was. I also liked goosebumps and the tales of the crypt keeper cartoon, also freaky stories.
Agreed - I love those too :)

Teaser - so season 3 won't appear until next year it seems. Notice how the voice dialogue it's so much engaging compared to discovery, parody in the dialogue and the music too as well.

this show feels, breathe, acts, and has the heart of Star Trek.

Norm Macdonald Live

Alright, this is more of a video podcast/talk show, but since it has seasons and episodes, and because you really do have to watch it (as opposed to just listening), I'll classify it as a TV show (and later it did turn into a Netflix show).

I've seen many clips from it and knew it was hilarious, but only recently I've decided to watch it all. Since it's not on YouTube anymore, I had to torrent it but found it quite easily.

Season 1 is one of the most brilliant things I've seen. It's classic Norm, but on steroids, with lots of nuanced, hilarious and weird jokes. I mean, he often takes an entire episode just to set up a joke at the end of it; hell, once he used a couple of episodes (like 5-6) to set up one of the most hilarious jokes I've ever heard and seen. And the amount of fucks not given to anything just makes it all the more hilarious.

The first ever episode (w/ Bob Einstein as Super Dave Osborne) was just hilarious on its own. It's been dubbed as "a hilarious disaster" - tells you all.

Yesterday I finished watching the fourth season of Goliath. According to what I've heard, this is the final season. This is a series I'm going to miss. Had some amazing characters. The acting and legal drama were both excellent.

Just finished watching Breaking Bad for the second time. It is absolutely one of the greatest of all time. I'd say the best thing is the acting, especially for Walt and Jesse. Aaron Paul might be one of my favourite acting performances of all time. Damn you feel his pain. Fuck it's such a dark show as well, forgot how evil Walt actually becomes, way more than I remembered. Its a true anti-hero role, he's actually not likable in anyway, but still heroic in his own pursuits. They develop his character perfectly from the quiet and hesitant Science teacher to cold-blooded bad ass very well.

There are some plot things that are a bit questionable second time around, mainly in s4 with Gus, but its not enough to take away from it. Might be one of the only shows where all seasons are 8/10 or higher. It ends very well. Kind of stupid that they are making a 6th season if i'm honest. El Camino was dissapointing, not sure if they still have the magic to do something worthwhile

8.9/10

Googled that but haven't found anything (significant). BB was a huge show, I would expect fireworks upon announcement. It names no sources for its info. Couple that with the fact that this is no reputable website, and the way they ended the S5 and El Camino, I'm calling it fake.

I could never get into breaking bad because it's too dark for me. I like my shows to be more lighthearted. That's probably why I am watching Merlin 2005 and Sinbad from the 90's. I hated breaking bad, since I thought it was the guy from X-Files I thought it would be a cool, but it's too graphic for me the violence is too much and I found it boring and stopped watching after the first few episodes and also Sons of Anarchy as well.

Jane was one of Jesse's most formative relationships throughout the series and the unimaginable loss for the character, made Jane's return El Camino's final moments a fitting sendoff for the character. With Better Call Saul set to air its final season, the question on everyone's minds is if Cranston, Paul, or Ritter will make an appearance, even though it might be difficult to factor their characters into the plot. Fans will find out when season 6 airs sometime next year.

Currently working my way through this on Netflix. Bit of a slow burner but well made, dark, religious horror elements. It's got mixed reviews but I've really enjoyed it so far. Mike Flanagan, who created it did the Haunting of Hill House and Bly Manor.

Yeah definitely a slow start, but really liked it. The last episode were silly though, but overall a great watch. Those dialogues are just amazing. So well written. Always a fan of Flanagan his work.

Yeh, I like how he keeps some of the actors from the previous series too. The dialogue when they talked about death on the couch was captivating. I'm not religious myself but that moment was just a great way to look at things and almost paint our insignificance. I've got a few episodes left and heard the ending was a little daft.

Vigil is on my next hit list for a rainy day.

Almost done with "Sharp Objects" which stars Amy Adams. It's incredible! Love it so far. Curious about the ending. :)

I’ve heard good things about this show, will watch it after I’m done with Squid Game. At least we got something good outta Netflix this year.

Yeh I've not got around to squid game yet, been stretched for time with work. I hear it's similar to Battle Royale, which is a classic film.

Rewatching Xena - Warrior Princess and The Adventures of Hercules so good and cheesy. I miss the soundtracks when they had oboes.

I don't expect much from SEAL Team. If I expected much, I would've stopped after season 1, episode 1. I watch it for the mission scenes, I don't care for the drama, I don't care for the humour, I know it's objectively not impressive at all and template at times. I want pure combat. I like that.

But the latest episode was on another level entirely. In a negative connotation, of course. It was 40 minutes of lame stories with bad actors all tying in to how 9/11 impacted them. A 40-minute commercial for a 9/11 memorial fund. And that, in and of it self doesn't make it bad, but it could've been done so much better. A low-budget solution which results in probably the worst episode of the series. Everything about it feels cheap.

Had to rant, felt like I wasted 40 minutes already so why not a couple of more.
