DAVE season 3 started airing today. Fuck, the first two episodes are juuuuust something else. Was blown away just now. Always loved this guy's music (and his music videos!), but the way he incorporates music into the episodes is just fucking brilliant. And even when he isn't, he can hit you properly in the feels - or give you a huge fucking laugh. The writing is phenomenal.

Just take a look at this clip from season 1. There's couple of moments like these scattered throughout the seasons - sometimes it's him being hilarious, and sometimes vulnerable, heart-opening.

New episode of Attack on Titan is FIRE

This is good to hear, still havent seen it. I just started rewatching from S3 again to get back into it and watch by the dub time the dub drops. I remember being confused a lot in s4 but now finally getting my head around the story properly.

I remember really getting angry at S4 as I did not like the new animation style. Initially found the color grading really orange or blown out, the basic animation quite rigid and the characters looking too strange/not like themselves. Also killing the original music. But this time around I am not hating it so much. Its actually more complex animation then the previous seasons, but still sometimes not as fluid. What did you think? S4 ep 1 and 2 are very sick though.

Binging Better Call Saul. Took me so long to pick it up, but now I'm halfway through season 3.

It's excellent, very entertaining and flows along perfectly. I think this was one of the best spinoffs ever. And I definitely love the side-characters, it's like watching GTA 5 gameplay videos. Lots of quirky characters and situations.

In continuation to my previous post, I finished with the series just now.

I have to say I definitely started enjoying it less as it went on. Before, it could've stood as a standalone series, but as it was wrapping up it got boring for me, especially since it's been years since I watched Breaking Bad and I lost interest. I also was not 100% "believing" some of the characters and their relationships.

It was still an entertaining series, so maybe season 6 is what spoiled it for me a bit. But I do have to say I've definitely watched better series.

I've started How I Met Your Mother...again. I've watched it 3 or 4 times already, but the last time I did it was at least 8 years ago. Not sure if I'll stick through to the end this time though.

It's so cheesy, but so nostalgic and sweet for me.

oh, i'm looking forward to that

Return to BABYLON 5 as the epic interstellar saga continues with THE ROAD HOME. Travel across the galaxy with John Sheridan as he unexpectedly finds himself transported through multiple timelines and alternate realities in a quest to find his way back home. Along the way he reunites with some familiar faces, while discovering cosmic new revelations about the history, purpose, and meaning of the Universe. BABYLON 5: THE ROAD HOME will be available on Digital, 4K UHD and Blu-ray on August 15, 2023.

Looks like a fusion of Sliders and Starship troopers. The animation looks like the ones from Spiderman and Action man but the lips movement are terrible.

Halfway through HIMYM's 7th season, and I honestly don't get why people were upset about the series' ending. The ending is the thing that makes most sense, especially from season 4 or so onward. The show peaked in season 1 and just got progressively worse with each season.

Here's a term for you: Flanderization - Wikipedia

Alright, finished it today. From when I wrote this, the series got much sillier, but I loved Ted's development, when it was serious. At times, it was depressing to watch even, moving at the very least.

I even had something in my throat during a couple of scenes.

That said, still stand by what I wrote. Seriously lacking in execution. Read some fan suggestions, miles better than what we had.

Also, the story makes sense, even with the finale. But again, the execution sucked ass.

Finished Ted Lasso, season 3 over a couple of days. Absolutely loved it. Would've wished for more football-related drama, but football here just serves as a vehicle for the drama we get from interpersonal relationships. Some things I felt were unexplored enough, but still, the series are great.

The emotions are portrayed very simply, yet very effectively - that's one of the highlights of the show for me. Like, we see a hint of Ted's panic attack, and his default reaction of staying positive, staying strong and caring about others first. It all happens in 2-3 seconds, but if you pay attention, you feel it. Or like in a certain scene, some fan spews some homophobic shit, unintentionally towards a (secretly) gay footballer. And he just slightly moves his head and sort of stops his body in a short millisecond and continues moving to the locker room. That's the entire reaction! And it's enough to conclude that something is wrong, that this affected him immensely.

All in all, highly recommended.

Surprised to see you say this. For me it was very very bad. I couldn't even finish it, me and the wife both gave up at around episode 4/5 I think. This is coming from someone who absolutely loved S1 and have watched it 3 times. S3 is so lame cmon. Barely funny, every character has their own lame little subplot and drama (too many little storylines going on at once). Acting and dialogue average to bad. I liked that they included more Football related storylines/content (S2 lacked that).

Well, I mean I mostly forgot what happened in S1 and S2 anyways since they were years ago. Can't really compare to be honest, though I do still think it's very good. I enjoyed it.

Watched the first 2 episodes of the new Black Mirror series last night.
‘Joan is Awful’ was a bit meh, saved by Salam Hayek’s performance.
‘Loch Henry’ was really good though. Don’t think I’ll ever listen to ‘Come Baby Come’ by K2 in the same way again though! :ROFLMAO: 😳

Started watching Tulsa King. It's created by Taylor Sheridan, so it should be good. Two episodes in, nothing special but entertaining enough, it shows promise.

Alright, finished the first season of Tulsa King. While it's created by Taylor Sheridan, he only serves as an executive producer and wrote only one episode.

I've watched Sopranos enough to have high expectations when it comes to mafia series, or series in general. This one is entertaining/passable enough, but just falls short on every count. It's not groundbreaking either. I won't watch the second season when it comes out.

Last episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds was actually pretty nice. Anyone?
