What are the (truly) best vocal Trance tracks of all time? (The Top 100)

I know the lists of vocal Trance track have been done almost to death, but you must understand that every single playlist I search on Spotify or Youtube is beyond the point of acceptable cheese in this genre, filled with so many average tracks, modern butchered remakes or misplaced euro dance pop. To put simply, the lists and suggestions on offer just suck hard.

This forum is the only place where I can respect the opinions and suggestions of what truly are the greatest and highest quality vocal Trance records from the scene. I'm interested to see which ones you guys consider are the special ones, the 9 or 10 out of 10 tracks for you. For me the genre of Vocal Trance is extremely special in itself. Always looking to discover ones I missed too. If you want to share your personal top 5 the feel free to do so.

Jusinte Suissa is probably my favourite vocalist of all time though. Love what they did with Oceanlab and the club remixes, mainly Breaking Ties, Sirens of the Sea and Miracle. Special shout out to Delirium Silence, the first trance vocal I ever heard probably. Danced to it countless times.

7. Novecento - Leaving Now (DJ Dado Remix) - very old track that fits right into a robert miles set
6. BPM - Angel (Matt Bradshaw Remix) - very classic flip n fill, kenny hayes track thats not a cover song. '00' did a remix on this track
5. Dreamcatcher - I Don't Wanna Loose My Way - the original
4. Mansun - Wide Open Space (Perfecto Remix) - I don't think there will be any rockband to trance remix as good as this
3. Chicane - Lost U Somewhere (Heliotropic Mix) - I'm pretty sure this the best remix of a chicane track
2. Keemo - The Dawn - PS2 Wipeout's signature track, really love this one, hayday of games and pop charts filling with dnb, happy hardcore, trip hop, house, big beat, trance eurodance and even techno. A true testament era for everyone

My number 1 by a mile. Always loved the vocals on this. I think I posted this in the thread for this tune on here, but the original source of the lyrics is a sort of Christian folk song called 'Now the green blade riseth'
Works amazingly well for this though and gives the track a very ethereal feel.

Just such a great vibe to this tune, always brings a smile to my face.

Can I say this one? Is it technically trance? Too obvious?

Tilt were amazing back in the day. Great production, great melody, superb vocals... just a great tune.

Rio Klein - Fearless (Agnelli & Nelson Remix)
A&N were on fire at this point - so many great tunes. This one doesn't get enough credit imo.
Hard to find a good quality version of it sadly.

I will try to give you some lesser known but deep emotional tracks on top of my head...

I was listening to this one today I actually searched for the lyrics since I forgot the name. Might be a bit cheesy for some, but very emotional song rare even for trance. ATB - Stars come out

I can see why some people hate modern Andrew Rayel when in the past he produced deep emotional music like that. Andrew Rayel feat. Jano - How Do I Know

What more needs to be told about that one Andy Moor+Sue McLaren(one of the most underrated vocal in trance, paired with the right producer OMG). Andy Moor feat. Sue McLaren - Trespass (check the remixes too specially Antillas and Dankann)

I would say Kyau & Albert has always danced around the commercial side of trance. But boy do I love Albert on the vocals. Easily one of the best male vocals in trance. So I am going to skip them in this list. But still worth a while to check their discography if you have time.

Now everybody knows ATB - Ecstasy, but most missed some really amazing songs the same album - No Silence like Here With Me

Ofc I am obsessed with Atb so I might be a bit biased since I am definitely one of his biggest fans for 20+ years now. But he always finds very unique vocalists. Speaking of ATB he really loves working with Heather Nova, and through the years they had some amazing songs, so it's hard to pick a favourite maybe the Renegade remix from A&T

The title is supposed to be Karen Overton - Your Loving Arms. I don't know which producer made the background track, though.
And yeah, it's one of the better vocals in trance. Definitely enjoy the darker theme over the usual diva stuff.
For those viewing this thread: if you like Your Loving Arms, definitely check out Armin van Buuren - Virtual Friend. It also has "dark" vocals and a brooding/gloomy aesthetic, which is neat to hear in trance. Virtual Friend is IMO one of Armin's best and most underrated productions as well.

Sounds like she's moaning, squeaking and mumbling to herself rather than singing IMO, outside of the vocals its rather mediocre too. I can certainly see it grow on someone given the time but for me its simply a no go.
