Oh yeah, I forgot about Kasabian.

The absolute pinnacle of bland, safe rock music. Listened to by the type of boors who wear skinny jeans, smoke vanilla vape pens and drink dark fruit ciders.

Haha, yeah i agree. Never got into them. Probably the case with a lot of popular bands with me though. Someone mentioned Muse - theyre one of my favourite bands ever...they have an operatic sound that can tie into an emotional aspect Trance has sometimes.

The other bands in my top 3 ever are Queen and Oasis.

So if it's nog sung, but spoken, it cannot be pop music. Alrighty then.

Besides, he does sing:

Correct, I wouldn't classify Will I Am as pop. Neither I would Eminem.
Black-Eyed Peas or Will I Am's collab with Britney, sure, but not Will I Am as a solo artist.

I really liked the first Kasabian album when it first came out! Maybe I was 16 or 17. Dont listen to it at all now though or any of the other albums. Like this track below though, I remember the lyrics "music is my worldddddd" really resonating with me.

heh..guilty 😁

I acknowledge they're great in terms of creativity/novelty though...I don't question the fact that they're at the very least musically talented.

I just can't stand the vocalist and the way he sings.. I have the same thing with say: Stephen Molyneux. By all accounts most of his Liberatarian ideas (not all) and mine should resonate and he should be pleasure to listen too.

But the sound of his voice and the whole way in which he speaks/cadance/tone/tenure etc.. to me are just nails on a chalkboard...its just so utterly cringe and teeth grinding that i can't stand listening to the man for more then 30 seconds..

Mumford and Sons! And I am sorry to say, Elton John.

For dance music I didn’t understand the Cosmic Gate sound. Exploration of Space seemed so bad and degeneration of the genre.
