Just wondered what other sounds you guys are into old and new really?
For me, out with Trance, I enjoy quite a lot of current Techno and am a sucker for almost anything with an acid line or with ‘old skool rave’ type vibes to it.
Gary Burrows is my main man there for now, releasing quite often on Spektre’s (another duo I enjoy) label Respekt Recordings.
I still spin older sounds from the likes of The Prodigy, Altern 8, Praga Khan etc too, but also love me some full on 90’s Eurodance cheddar.
2 Unlimited, Culture Beat, Snap, Cappella, Sash!, Haddaway....I have no shame.
Still dig out a lot of early - mid 90’s Hardcore too (mainly alcohol fuelled nostalgia trips lol).
Away from Dance music, I just love the 80’s era in general and will happily blast out those massive power/rock ballads as well as the sappier love stuff.
That 80’s snare drum was a thing of beauty
Anyhow, that’s covered me and ruined any street cred I had (if any), what about yourselves?
