congrats man, thats a good thing to read.
Thanks, and it’s kind of eerie. A lot of the deeply unempathetic/cynical things I posted here over the past two years were a result of that. It felt like my life was doomed and I honestly thought I wouldn’t exist a couple years from now if that fatigue remained. I now have a completely different outlook on life after fixing that

oh tell me about it brother...The most obnoxiously argumentative spitefull shit I (still) post here is arguably 70% the result of having work (or those brats of mine) completely drain me by the end of the day. Full agreed with @LostLegend on what a good night sleep + day outside touching the grass with your toes can do.

We're probably all guilty of letting real world worries and stress spill over into frustration in our online posting habits (me especially)
Shouting your frustrations at people on the internet isn't likely to get you beaten or locked up (Unless Kier Starmer sees it 😝 ) however, it rarely makes you feel any better.

We can now quote these posts at each other the next time one of us gets into it in the Politics thread! :ROFLMAO:

Good to hear you are on the mend @dmgtz96 !

I have finished my Master of Physics
I'm assuming this means you have attained a Masters Degree in Physics and not that you have, yourself, become a 'Master Of the Laws of Physics' like some sort of Marvel supervillain who's about unleash his terrible powers upon the world?

🙃

In all seriousness, congratulations! That is a seriously impressive academic achievement!

I think I glossed that over earlier and didn’t actually process what happened. But yes, that’s pretty impressive. NamelessYet has been wrestling with pretty serious advanced calculus and mind-boggling physics problems for the last couple of years

Now I am the MASTER OF BLACK HOLE.

So can Black Hole hire me as their mastering engineer?

Goodbye Copenhagen, goodbye Denmark, I have finished my Master of Physics in University of Copenhagen.

Now I am on my way home, but first there will be a ten-day travel in Luxembourg in the upcoming 10 days.
Did you visit @Katadunkass while you were there? Or was he busy as always, watching his special videos that feature horses?

I'm in the market for a telescope. A few months ago I didn't know shit about telescopes and slowly became disappointed that there's no mid priced optic that does everything. But after much deliberation I'm gonna go with a sky watcher 6" dobsonian. The sky out here in Straya is so beautiful and I wanna start hooking my slr up to it for some long exposure goodness. Also it's my 10 year wedding anniversary in October so me and Mrs fackarde are off to the hunter valley for wine, kangaroos, stargazing and edibles. Good times

Fuck yeah dude that sounds awesome! Congrats on 10 year too. We hit 20 last year. Looking forward to visiting Tas in the near future as well, and seeing the sky (I’m moving to Brisbane next year).

Thank you bro and congratulations to you too! Shortly after we moved here we visited @Narel in tassie for a few days, stunning part of the world. Best of luck with the move too, I ain't been to QLD yet but my wife's going to brissie on Monday again for work. I'm hoping to play a gig up there via this techno label I've been working with the last few years

Had a surgery last week. Turns out I had been dealing with chronic pain right behind my nose and difficulties breathing, which caused severe issues with the rest of my body: brain fog, unable to read a book without passing out, unable to exercise at the gym without essentially collapsing…

it’s over, and now I’m in recovery

looking forward to what this decade of life has to offer
I have had surgery done for my deviated septum it was painful it cause my weight to balloon up to 120kgs/264.555 lbs. I have been struggling to lose weight as a result of it. Another reason why I had it done was to fix my snoring/sleep apnea but it's made things the same and I fell alseep during a meeting I had last week and everyone in the office heard my snoring.

Sort of same here, I get one week “obligatory”/ government funded… then 5 weeks optional parental leave at a discount.
