Just keep at it. I am not 100% happy but still managed to make a song or even two per week not counting some demos for my demo cave which will be revisited later. With every song I learn a a ton of new stuff. Even managed to do my first future bass song last week. Absolutely blows my mind how much stuff you can learn exploring different styles...Wanting to produce so hard, have so much things I wish to express through music. But I seem to have lost it completely after a long time off, and my personal standards have only grown...
Quite an old post, haha.
What is the charity for? Proud of you btwTraining up for a 30 k+ charity run this summer. I can run a half-marathon, but those last 9 k. are a bitch. Currently doing a mixture of running and cycling.
i know the feeling. i suppose most that produce music does. I think the trick is to just finish everything that is important, then you have enough free time to actually produce music. Also, you know the thing that about writers, that is called "writers block"? i think that applies to us producers aswell. i feel it all the time. I have atleast 10 new trance tracks waiting to be finished but i just can't for some reason. "Producers block" perhaps? It is frustrating, so frustrating. The thing is, atleast for me is that i have to be inspied aswell as in a specific mood. Also as you know i started to produce more 80s/new age/synth pop-y stuff. That actually went quite smoothly. most of my tracks that i was working on is finished and i only have a couple left until i can make an album, wich is my plan, but for trance, no. its been so long since i finished a trance track. mphh frustrating indeed. Anyway, have you toyed with the idea of producing something you have never done before? It is really fun though.Wanting to produce so hard, have so much things I wish to express through music. But I seem to have lost it completely after a long time off, and my personal standards have only grown...
would thisI will have to check my calendar first, so don't take my word for it yet, but I think it is not April 1st.
We can't allow silliness if it's not April 1st. Things were getting a little too chummy around here.
