And for a week that began on such a high note, today was an absolute gut punch to my heart.

My dog died today.

Clooney the Miniature Schnauzer was seven. He had been vomiting blood again this morning (after a history of intestinal problems) and my family had decided to put him down if it recurred.

He was annoying and loud in equal measure, but above all he LOVED unconditionally, and was loved in turn. I went to my parents' house to say goodbye this morning, and it was like any other day for him - he was just happy we were all together.

He was a very good boy.

Don't ever fucking forget a crucial fact about life - this is all we have. So don't ever hestitate to tell someone if you love them. For small creatures such as we, the vastness is bearable only through love.

These days it never surprises me on hearing how our little friends impact our life.

For me its sometimes still hard looking back and thinking about my family cat Tabby, who passed away 16 years ago.

Animals that enter our life are wonderful.

Clooney looked and sounded like a lovely character. Theres definitely something special about pets that us humans should be more like.

That has something to do with Love I believe.

Thank you for sharing this on here Altair.

All the best in coping through this difficult time.

Bobby

I feel like dogs retain the same innocence of human children throughout their whole lives. Beyond the fact that we've directed their evolution towards loyalty for over twenty millennia, it's like their baseline is just pure affection, similar to our kids. One of the hardest things for us to do is to hold on to that energy as we grow old. But pets certainly help to show us how.

His passing was hardest for my mother. She was the one who originally brought him home seven years ago (almost to the day in fact), so he imprinted on her first. She was his human, and if they were both in the house he tended to be glued to her side. To my knowledge, her face was also the last thing he saw.

We're all gonna be mourning for a bit, but we'll be okay. Maybe my parents will get another dog some day, but not for a while yet. Thanks for your well-wishes ❤️

I absolutely feel your pain. I still miss my dog, who was put down after going blind and deaf, hardly moving or eating - generally just symptoms of old age.

Whenever I approach a door when I'm back home, I still instinctively open it easily not to hit him. The doors have glass so when looking through, I see a shadow and still think it's him. It's just 12 years of pure habits, but the hardest thing is living without a huge source of joy and unconditional love.

A couple of years ago I found a video titled "play with your dog" (or something similar) in which the owner plays with his dog, all while repeating the message of: "Your dog will die one day". It's a real eye-opener, their lives are far too short, yet intensely filled with joy. So it's very sad when they pass away. For that reason, I don't think I'll ever be strong enough to have a dog and go through all this again.

Andrew Tate's detention has been extended by 30 days to the end of February. The recent leaked audio recordings show that he is, in fact, a monster.
Women are dumping their Tate-loving boyfriends and husbands.

It's a good week to be a good, non-sociopathic, non-toxic man.

That stuff does my head in especially reading about woke and politics hence why I am now staying away from that stuff because I don't find it appealing at all. I honestly don't care about misogynist views and honestly people are people. Seriously, why do you read in that crap? It seems like a waste of neurons reading into that conspiracy crap generated by all these social media influencers.

its interresting to see what goes on in the world 🤷‍♂️

but yes, it is advisable to keep watching from a distance and don't get (too) emotionally drawn in.

I for one am curious to see what the reasoning is behind the 30 days pre-arrest extension is. Could be additional charges. could also be lack off evidence and needing more time (e.a. If they had a solid, concrete case against him, you'd expect that the extension wouldn't be neccesairy, and he'd be already facing a judge in court by now)

we'll c..

I suspect Andrew Tate needs to go back in his one person cage and stay in it forever. Itl honestly do him good and I'm sure the world will be safer.

I searched out a much nicer Tate and found a track im not familiar with. Ive placed it in currently listening thread. im speechless its so beautiful. Elevation

You should care about misogyny for the women in your life. Rejecting it is going to make you a socially-adjusted person who can actually interact with women as friends/girlfriends/spouses/etc and will make you less prone to getting fleeced by charlatans like Tate and Hamza.
@dmgtz96

interresting analysis by a legal expert on human trafficking.

She's definitely spot on on the victim blaming. You can see a lot of that even in the comments. It's disgusting.

Today i have started an ambient piece for the Deep Electronics ( record label) 10 yr anniversary compilation.
Ambient music production makes me so relaxed. So far it only has 2 sounds i designed, but lots of fx. Space sounds and strings.

on saturday i stressed my autistic step daughter ( trans son) . I think her bedroom door looks ok now. Usual meltdown included thumping the door lots and shes strong. I apologised, i got something wrong. She accepted it and after the melt down. Calmed almost immediately. - took me the rest of the day to feel ok. I didn’t make a fuss, didn’t apologise 10 times. Just once so I didn’t annoy her. We are good ❤️.

Yesterday was tough for the other 3 of my step daughters. They’re dad passed away at 62 after a long battle with cancer. 😔

They wanted the house to chat in private to their Mum ( my fiancé)

i had a walk and went to a few coffee shops.
didn’t intentionally do it on the walk but somehow gained a
clarity on my approach to life which grew on that walk. I always look inside and work on my self anyway. Especially the last 8 weeks as haven’t been able to work.

My exhaustion is almost fixed and im actually back to work soon. 👌

I have this calm approach to life now. And things that angered me before mean nothing to me now.

The Peace in my mind is lovely

Yes. She's, however, also definitly spot on on the Innocent until proven guilty part. Don't let your hate blind you to that.

(but really, he incriminated himself on his own by writing about how he used the loverboy method to make money from the women he worked with. He never used the term "loverboy method" but his course essentially gave the textbook definition. I'd say that's convincing evidence for me to say that, yup, he's totally guilty even if a court hasn't convicted him yet)

Just mentally prepairing you in case the odd chance that he'll gleefully walks away from this, cringly claiming himself to be Neo. 🙏 A friend of mine is an even bigger anti-trumper then most people here, and everytime she's mentally devastated when she learns he walks away not-guilty from an impeachment or a court case.

truth of the matter = its never wise to emotionally invest yourself into the fate of your enemies/ sell the hide before you shot the bear ;)

I for one am curious to see what the reasoning is behind the 30 days pre-arrest extension is.
I would imagine they consider him a potential flight risk given that he’s bragged about how many passports he has and how many countries he has citizenship for and don’t want to give him bail while the investigation is ongoing.

I personally find it staggering how the world seems to have suddenly paid so much attention to a guy who is essentially just an internet edgeord with a self-help pyramid scheme side hustle.

Hopefully he’ll vanish back into obscurity at some point.

good point.
There is one other option that crossed my mind. Note" this is far out there, so bring your tinfoil hats*

I believe he has bragged on occasion on how easy it is to manipulate and bribe the romanian police/authorities,

He could have staged this whole shabang for himself and the exposure 💡
