My current position is called content specialist. It's about written content mostly. I "translate" difficult laws and rules into simpler B1-texts so people can understand it more easily. Mostly for our website, but it can anything with written content.

I'm going to be the coordinator in my team. Then I don't work on products myself anymore but plan and decide what and when etc. I guess that was pretty self explanatory hehe.
Nice. Communicating hard to understand stuff so anyone can understand it is an art. So prioritising what projects or products get done when must be important too.

I have certainly had dreams where i heard magnificent electronic music. In the 90s I probably tried to put it in a track but can’t have been that memorable piece ( probably didn’t replsy it well) as I don’t specifically remember. There are probably quite a few artists eho do that at least once. I believe one of aphex twins likely truths is that he hears songs in his dreams and replicates many. Cant believe its how he wrotes most like he’s said but its Aphex Twin. Be interesting to know if Jon Hopkins has song dreams. His sound is almost as original as Aphex Twins was in the 90’s. These days thats quite a feat.

Nowadays, there's a lot of sites on the Internet where you can play gambling. During the total quarantine, I became very interested in this method of entertainment. In my free time, I tried my luck and sometimes even managed to win something. However, I came across some sites more often, and due to lack of experience, I couldn't immediately recognize the. I'd to learn, going through a bitter experience. It's much easier for beginners now because there are such sites as world-casino-nl.com/unibet, where you can find detailed information about almost every platform with slot machines. To be honest, I sometimes resort to their articles myself to not step on the same rakes.
I'm tired of waking up to work every day, only music saves me.

Working from home is the shit. Today I worked productively for about an hour.

An increase in responsibility will surely help. Once you get really comfortable in your current position, it certainly is time to look for more work.

Been making presets in this all the live long day:

I've had it for a while, but I can't believe I never fully delved into it myself until now; it's fucking amazing and a big improvement on the first one. Stuttery glitch edits and textures are one of my very favourite effects in music, and it's a big part of why BT is one of my favourite artists of all time. It's hard to explain, but they're like pure shots of bliss to my autistic brain.

can relate to this, Home for me just doesn't put me into work mode the way a proper office does.
Also, I think you also gain confidence by being around certain people too which makes a big difference.

Do we have a newwaveretro thread? I can't seem to find it.

Managed to finish all the work I had, and in the meantime also held a presentation for the company owners - a pretty successful Friday. My week-long holiday can officially start!

I had a "friendship breakup" yesterday. I think we had different perspectives on boundaries, jokes that were allowed, sensitivities, and so on, so I suggested that we just be coworkers instead of friends.

I think theres music, that in particular is produced by ambient producers that reflects both the human condition and that of something very hard to define. Something involved with being human but part of of us that in some people is aware of lighter more pleasant nature thats hard to achieve in this body because of the state everyone else is in. I find certain music reaches a high level (a spiritual type level) and often then dips slightly below and goes on to following a slightly sadder or darker feeling to reflect the states we are in as people.

What im saying is that i know that it surely couldn’t be that hard that if people were just normal then everyone in the world would be happy and not forget the ‘genuine’ spiritual part of themselves and properly integrate it fully into their life. Their whole self and all the nice feelings that would come from being that without the need for the fear that our instict has provided our minds because of the state of people in this world. Incidentally, Normal = Nice, kind, aware, honest. All the good qualities. Perhaps respectful, but respect wouldn’t need to be thought about as it just would come naturally. - This I think is the kind of normal everyone should be all the time.
But I doubt anyone is. Me included

So normally I don't look too much into the styling of gas cars, but...

the last great American muscle car: the Dodge Challenger (trim: SRT Hellcat Widebody). It's being discontinued this year because Dodge is now focusing all their efforts on the Dodge EV, but there's definitely something alluring about it being the last of its generation. Just based on some Youtube shorts, it sounds sick

The top/rarest trim, the Demon version, has a very specific sound that would freak me out if I heard it at night and didn't know it was from a car:

The SRT Hellcat Widebody from my earlier screenshots costs $79k before any options, which is WAY more expensive than my car. Add some options and you easily get x2 the price! The Demon trim goes for $130-200k, which is just nuts.

I want to take one of these bad boys on a test drive at some point. Maybe I'll rent one on Turo if I ever see it, haha

This is the concept of the Dodge Charger EV, btw.

edit: more fun videos of the Challenger Hellcat.

It looks so out of place in Europe. I love the reaction at 14 seconds where one of the pedestrians starts filming the car.

The reaction of the three ladies 3 seconds into the video is priceless:

The Challenger is not something you see every day. I don't think anyone at work drives this car, and I haven't seen any in the city I live. I'll have to pay more attention when I go up to Washington DC haha there should be some over there. It's a perfect example of sheer American badassery.

Wow, I am getting hammered and pummelled over on reddit after I discussed a sport being too amercanised because it's true.

I mean they had cheerleaders and the commentary sounds exactly like I am hearing a NBA game.

Yeah that one's a beast, the last of the greats possibly. Even though I'm much more a fan of the "import" culture and Japanese inline 6s, there's just something special about the deep rumble of an American (supercharged) V8.

I've deleted multiple of my own accounts on reddit for a hobby I like simply because I fall in the "wrong" political opinion. A lot of extremely liberal people from Twitter migrated to the subreddit and basically only virtue-signal/act self-righteous.

Like, I'm liberal, and I still think these people take it WAY too far. I've noticed a rising anti-"virtue signal" sentiment though, which is good.

@jetflag This is rich coming from me :p
