Ok, add to that a thousand more to fix my fucking car. Awful day.
Lol same, I've spent about $650 on Firestone's lifetime wheel alignment and two Tesla service center appointments (2nd alignment + balance)

Wait, you paid for the lifetime wheel alignment and then did another one after that? 😂

Yeah that Firestone did a bad job. It was rural-ish TX and they're not used to servicing Teslas. I've been turned down by a few local shops as well. Hopefully when I go back to VA the local Firestone is more familiar with Teslas...

Edit: with this car you have to fiddle with some of the steering wheel settings. Iirc the Firestone guy just changed the right camber by like 0.1-0.2 degrees but didn't bother with the front camber at all, so the front was still out of spec

What were the symptoms that caused you to go for an alignment?

During my trip, I noticed my car was not driving straight. I had a difficult time staying in my lane. Even autopilot was messed up, and the car kept moving left and right within the lane because it struggled to stay centered

Ooh, that's not good. How many km have you stacked up?

Since I started noticing it, about 1500 miles (2400 km). The most recent 500 have been driving to service centers. Fortunately my car now drives straight and feels centered/stable.
Right now my car has 7925 miles (12754 km) on the odometer. I've driven this thing a lot ;)

The reason why I asked is because it still feels too soon for this to happen. That is, unless you drove a couple of rallye with it. Doesn't warranty cover that?

Yeah, I thought it was too soon to start having problems as well. The alignment probably got out of whack due to the Tennessee/Alabama roads. Unfortunately warranty doesn't cover service center visits, and nothing has been replaced yet (like suspension parts)

Just around 24h before my marathon starts.
Well... I passed the test.

It was a hot day and sunny day in Helsinki. Of course it would not be hot for the summer, but we had like 5 degrees just around two weeks ago. So this meant I hadn't adjusted into running in 20 degrees.

It was not even worthy of trying a record, but I attempted to keep it "easy and relaxed". Unfortunately that was also way too demanding and my heart rate was more suitable for half marathon for majority of time.

Around 30k when marathon really starts I faced problems and needed occasional rest and walk in order to get to the finish. But I did it. The time was not even close to my best, but it was under 3:35 so I guess it proves I have trained at least a little.

The route was not the quickest, but it went through some really nice looking parts of Helsinki. And it felt nice to run inside Olympic Stadium.

These photos, all week. Up top on the ridgeline, around 1900 m in altitude. To the left, it's Bulgaria, to the right it's the beautiful valleys full of forests, sitting in between local peaks. Behind is a majestic ridge with a peak we climbed last year, however it couldn't be seen because of the clouds. What you see in this picture are the stunning Three Peaks (the third one is in the center of the image).

Low clouds rolling over the peaks, sometimes obscuring everything from view. Some rain and small ice falling down. Lots of juniper bushes. Avoiding or getting over them is annoying.

The mind is only focused on walking and the elements. It's cold. Will it rain heavier, will there be thunderstorms... Should we seek shelter or continue climbing... Is it worth climbing if we won't see anything anyways, and are only in danger of being exposed to lightning...

Wind is all you can hear.

We decide to climb down. But, instead of taking the long route around to the valley below, risking being exposed to the elements more, we decide to cut through the forest and descend quickly. The trail exists only on a map. The forest is thick, there are lots of big rocks hidden below the old snow. Some of it is soft, some of it is hard. Everything around us is practically untouched by humans.

The focus is only on finding a decent path and avoiding injury...and bears. Some little ones were seen in the area...means their mommy is around. Any sort of incident in a forest, without a signal or clear location, would practically require self-reliance.

The snow is slowly melting.

A stream is all you can hear.

We succeed. There is a hidden waterfall near. The trail is at least marked, though almost as dangerous. Crossing streams and walking over wet, slippery rocks is an issue. Rocks stacked below old snow means one wrong step could mean serious injury.

And then we see it. One of the most majestic sights. Being so hard to reach, and being very isolated adds much more beauty. I could be here all day. This waterfall wasn't even known to anyone besides the locals ~10 years ago. There's lots of those around, scattered in the untouched forest around.

Waterfall is all you can hear.

This is just a small snippet of the absolute magic present within these mountains.

A couple of days later, it's back to the mundane. There's machine noises, there's car noises, there's people noises. There's bills to be paid, there's money to think about. There's work, there's the internet.

I want my stream, I want my waterfall, and I want my wind back!

Wowsers. Serbia’s entry in Eurovision, loving the electro vibes and 80’s drum machine sounds. Speed it up and it’s possibly (a little) electro trance ‘feel’ (but in a not shit way) Wadya think

@Gagi
Haha YES. Love the synths. Weak performance though.

Last night was potentially one of the greatest nights I have ever experienced, probably in my top 5 moments in my life. I saw System of a Down play for the first time with 70,000 people in Las Vegas, and it was beyond anything I could have imagined. I spent almost 2 hours dancing inside a mosh pit giving everything I had. It was relentless, wild, crazy, etheral, emotional. Just pure joy and jubilation. I really gave it everything, lost my voice from the singing. As I walked back with the crowd I was in such disbelief to what I had witnessed, I couldn't even put it into words. There is no better feeling in the world.

The outcry of the whole Taylor Swift and Matt Healy situation has been phenomenal. Matt Healy, Taylor's new boyfriend, is a known edgelord racist misogynist, and Taylor Swift's team is putting out damage control articles to paint him in a good light/sweeten his public image.
I've never really cared much for Taylor (as a person, or for her music), but this is interesting. Actively dating someone like Matt Healy and supporting his image is NOT a good look. It reeks of rich sheltered white woman privilege that doesn’t give a fuck about minorities or people outside of* her same demographic. @jetflag

Sometimes you really manage to amaze me my dude @dmgtz96,

You out of the blue tag me to a celeb- drama story involving Taylor Swift (?), a subject you admit is utterly uninteresting (especially given the girl’s whole persona/act/ discogs revolving around the same subject of “wrong boyfriend”) in where SJW’s bemoan her apparent “racist mysogenist” date of the month,

..where as not three recent convos between you and me ago, in the Covid&whatnot thread, you where engaging in exactly the same edgelord mysogenist behaviour against a women suffering from vaccine side effects that you seem to condemn here😅

Like…. Aight I suppose? Cool story

Lol it's a story that's been trending on reddit for the past couple of days. It's just bizarre that only one media source reported on it (Buzzfeed), and everyone else was hush hush or pushing articles like "The Allure of the British Bad Boy."
I don't care for her music or much of what she does, but this whole situation shows that she's not as feminist as her fans think.

That's disingenuous. You can call out someone for spreading misinformation without being a misogynist
