I am originally from Fryslân, The Netherlands most northern Province, But currently live in The hague, Kijkduin, South holland, right near the coast where I do most of my excersize in the form of windsurfing/surfing.

Vitosha mountain. Highest peak is Cherni vryh 2290m.

I haven't climbed Musala (highest peak in the Balkans) yet. It's basically a day trip from Sofia but plans with my friends fell through this year.

Never knew there are other Bulgarians in the forum.

I come from a really small and cosy town that is 10 km from the old capital - Gorna Oryahovitsa.

The area around is filled with so much history, like rest of the Balkans.


The old capital fortress - Tsarevets, takes the cake ofc:
