I keeps growing on me, I quite like the whole conceptuality of a "last rave on earth" track. you have your acid Operation Blade esq part, your Clear blue water synth, your dreamy vocal breakdown and finally your trancey supersawtooth arp, all @ 145 bpm end of the night beat. Sort of all the things you would want in your "final rave on earth"
well said

I always hear recycled melodies and samples from the past in Will's tracks but he does them well - youve got Public Domain at the start, then GD - Choral Reef intro melody, then that vocal sample thats from an old track (cant remember which right now)...the main melody is the weakest part of the track imo, very generic - and the outro melody is the best bit of the track ha. Will be a very popular track thats for sure.
papua new guinea by the future sound of london, epic track!

Tired of hearing Lisa Gerrard's vocals in trance tracks, especially that sample (2:28). Plus, the way the vocals are used is quite cheap, you can hear that stuff in commercial (deep-house) etc. quite a lot nowadays. Otherwise, the track has some potential, but I don't like the execution. Somehow the combination of the beats and the melodies is a bit off, not quite fit for full impact.

But hey, it's clearly a festival track, it'll work there quite well.
I dont hear any Lisa Gérard vocals ??

Ok, Will probably sampled from Papua New Guinea from The Future Sound of London, which sampled from Dead Can Dance's Dawn of the Iconoclast.

You'll hear it clearly here:

(there is no entry for The Last Rave on Earth yet)

Then compare with the sample of Will's track at 2:28.

Dead Can Dance's female vocalist is Lisa Gerrard.

Last section, outro section, whatever it is it's lift off sensational. That video of everyone going wild makes me want to come out of rave retirement. The main melody is not to my liking but I think being at a party with Will playing this you would have no complaints. Drugs im sure helps.

Pulls on the nostalgia heartstrings of being able to actually rave but set itself up for failure in my mind with “Hey DJ”, followed instantly by the fact that the into reminded me of Public Domain - Operation Blade 😂 😆 🤘 🤘 .....

For a tear-up festival track this is pretty savage. Would love to be witness to this live
