As of now, in my opinion, it’s the most adequate replacement for Udio. At least it produces quite original pieces with fewer sound artifacts than Suno.

I fucked them.... Front and backwards and then flipped them over and turned them into Duran Duran including the yuppy moans.

the juno arp is utter bliss and anyone who disagrees has to do 20 pushups on their knuckles.
I can't do one, what else can I do?

A few more or less successful tracks from the new generator. It’s really bad for trance music, but quite decent for Breakbeat and progressive deep house. They all feature an FM bells sound because I like it :)
I can’t attach the video from Shorts, but it has a really cool melody BiboranTv - People Say

This is better than any pop song I've heard on the radio

I spent two minutes of real time on this song, one minute of which I spent waiting for the video to generate 😁 . This is the level of modern ASOT and Armin van Buuren’s cheesy songs. Now, imagine if some major studios or producers had a closed, corporate AI tool that trains on all available databases and isn’t subjected to strict copyright censorship that would be an endless stream of music you could make money from....:sneaky:

It all sounds super unsettling to me, like the uncanny valley effect. I dont have anything against it other than its a terrible waste of energy and resources. There is already way to much mediocre plastic music being made by humans... Also why would anyone be interested in a slightly worse version of something that has already been made.

AI will for sure clutter up all the streaming and music stores rendering them useless. I still have not seen any meaningful piece of art created with AI, as that requires pushing boundries and doing something new. You cant train your model on something that has never existed luckily.

correct.

This is why I don't really fear the alleged A.I. take-over for that matter, especially from a hobbyist perspective. AI simply requires (constant) human input to draw an average of what already existed. without that input, its just stuck 🤷‍♂️ Many people get the skynet jitters which is understandable since what it can do is pretty darn impressive, but remember that AI as it currently stands is not much more then the autocorrect on your phone, just much bigger.

What we will probably see in the near future is more laws/ copyright security protocols and protection for "original artists" and Islands of said Artists, within the sea that is AI-content.

Art creators will, however, have to accept the fact that getting paid to do art is probably going to get increasingly difficult, especially in the more mediocre fields, and you know what? i'm fine with that. Art without any financial incentive is less shackled and thus more free to grow into something unique.

How to set up Udio to create tracks longer than 2:10 min? That's the length limit in my Udio settings (standard trial).

Prompt:

Trance track stylistically strictly based on Cosmic Gate - Mental Atmosphere (Beam & Cyrus Remix), Complex melody strongly based on Boards Of Canada - Everything You Do Is A Balloon

Balloon

Well, funny how it interpreted "strictly based",
but the track is interesting!
