I'm not, I just find it cringy and to a degree laughable and am wondering if others feel the same way. To me this is the edm trance equilvalent of duck faced selfies on instagram, and those are also a form of individuality and self expression if you really want to...Im not sure what youre getting so worked up about - yeah i dont agree with some DJ doing a generic set somewhere - but if an artist wants to go out to their favourite secluded spot and play their own tracks, which means something to them at that place, then it shows a bit of individuality imo.
I never argued against their free choide to do whatever the hell they want music wise. They are as far as i'm concerned completely free to in a manner of speaking, swing their private parts around on camera with a prerecorded set on autoplay hell, pure production wise i'm quite the sunny lax fanboy for example..
What I'm saying is I find it rather narcistic, creatively flatlined, mindless trendhopping and genuinly don't understand the appeal behind this novelty.
again, what is creative about this? where's the artistic appeal/ quality. the pattern they choose the drone to fly maybe?
