I decided to post the remix since it didn't get picked, not that it stood chance with how lazy I got with it anyways. While there are a lot of things done right, it was lazy and I kept too much of the original song just adding some more sounds and keeping pretty much same structure. After all I made it in a afternoon, but honestly I like how it came even if it feels a bit lazy so I got left with a song I didn't knew what to do with. I redid the outro automation, haven't listen the song in months and all of a sudden outro automation looked too sloppy...

You are right, but does it sound that bad, I've seen a lot of breaks dominated by the lows and while the bass is a tad more strong on this one its on par with some songs I've heard. Granted I didn't do much mixing and mastering since it was done in one day and ears were tired, but even now sounds ok to me.

I lowered it a bit more, yeah it does sound better.

yes.

and I would say its not just the volume, its certain peaks in the frequency range that need cutting also imo.
