...ith sloppy, that the clap used in here is just pretty weak if you ask me. Just a matter of taste , I know. Orkidea is a great producer, but his latest productions have not been my cup of tea. I guess point knows exactly what I mean.

I like this. Pretty enjoyable track. Then again, I haven't listened to many Anjuna-style releases so maybe I'm just not that oversaturated with it. @point in some sense, this might still be a blatant copy of a certain style or a group of tracks, but it can still be enjoyable. Tastes differ, and not only individually, but sometimes daily or at least peri...

...aid only less beefy, and I meant the drums only. But it's clean as well without being over the top. i have actually used very modern Sunny Lax/Activa & Thrillseekers drum loops & fx here hehe Aha! point :D Just to note that i only sent this to well known labels - not really any small indie ones, otherwise it wouldve got signed no doubt - but i didnt want it going to any random label...where the trac...

...lks,its out now on Bandcamp! A big thanks to guys like @Marco1979 and anyone else who have also given me a donation when downloading the track - very much appreciated and thankful of the support!! @point - i agree with most of your words,i 'know' why the decent labels wouldnt sign this - it is too long, but ive purposefully 'strung' out all the building/progressive elements of the track,as my main insp...

Probably the best representation of progressive ever. Take note web-prog producers. What is that swelling synth/pad at 8.29 point? https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=524&v=ZAqOvj37K5Q

  • 20:45 PM - Daysleeper mentioned point in post Can "uplifting" trance be reinvented?
Don't worry. I agree. The Ferry Corsten remix of Awakening is a wonderful track, totally underrated. Cool. point what are those synths from 1,23. Im interested in how he got that sound.

... but I'm personally trying to choose tracks with none or very few replies. Doing it right now, on my 4th release.. Would be interesting to see how long it will take for someone like @Daysleeper or @tranceclassics :D

Love when those synths come in at 3.30. and 4.27 What the hell happened to trance? This sound so multidemensional and nice. Heard this @point ? Are modern producers taking themselves to seriosly? Charming tracks like these arent made.

  • 16:52 PM - Fredjan quoted point in post Top 10 trance tracks of all time - 2019 edition
That's a very unusual top3 to say the least :) It's interesting how songs resonate so differently to each person. I would say that in my list the top 3 are the least strange choices, haha. I do imagine man...

Housey-touched rework of 1998... it is kinda OK. Surprised nobody else caught this, it’s kind of a rip off really, although it’s a bit of a gray area since 1998 is more or less just chords and the...

  • 18:21 PM - point quoted J4mie in post Orkidea - Beautiful (Bryan Kearney Rework) [TBA]
I happened to have discovered the original mix and Alt+F4 remix of this song a few months ago. This rework is really just the Alt+F4 remix with an added beat and bass line. Good classic from 2005. Exactly,...

  • 08:54 AM - Fredjan quoted point in post How can trance be improved?
...k any of them were really unique. BINGO! Finally someone said it. Objectively, even some of the big name producers from the Trance heyday were not that good. Props to Matt Darey for coming up with Point Zero, but otherwise his productions were largely much like from the conveyor belt that churned out generic trance anthem after generic trance anthem.

  • 19:16 PM - Magdelayna quoted point in post How can trance be improved?
Even in the last 5-10 years each of his songs have the same kick, similar percussion and similar synth sounds. and imo theres nothing wrong with that - thats their identity as an artist. Would you rather a...
  • 13:05 PM - Magdelayna quoted point in post How can trance be improved?
