Narel & 27Club (Facade) - It’s A Shit Business / Turn It Off Mum [Domino FX]

Thanks for letting me know about the 27Club alias. I only knew about the Facade alias of you, therefore my impression of you was softer. I will definitely listen to more of your harder stuff next month, thanks for your wishes and I will go studying for my exams now.

Armin van Buuren & Richard Durand & Dicosis - ID

The anthem has been released on Chinese platforms, and our community are mostly blaming Armin about "why the fxxk did he cut an entire minute off!" The final release is a whole minute shorter than the version played on EDC Miami 2025. A stereotypical 5-minute trance track is nothing different...

Narel & 27Club (Facade) - It’s A Shit Business / Turn It Off Mum [Domino FX]

It's so nice to see two of my most respected producers @Narel and @facade1984 having a collab in 2026! I'm always a big fan of Narel's rhythmically driving, mechanical and aggressive sounds, so when I listen to tracks like "Tensile" (the intro & outro part), "Assonance", and "Ex Acid Machina", I...

qoob - The Four Stages Of Man [Pure Progressive]

This is THE most listened track of mine in the entire year of 2023. Excellent and outstanding. It deserves a 9/10 for me. When I heard it for the first time in Forerunners' Pure Prog Vol. 2, I loved it instantly because of its sound design. When this track finally got released, I got impressed...

TF Best of 2025 - VOTE OPEN + Your thoughts on the year?

@Hensmon I have taken my votes, but I am not completely sure if my vote has been submitted successfully. There aren't any signs of showing if I have submitted/edited successfully, and my voting form will always turn blank every time I refresh this page. I'm not sure if this is a network issue...

TF Best of 2025 - VOTE OPEN + Your thoughts on the year?

Coredata - Kaleidoscope Skies 5pts: 4. Super-Frog Saves Tokyo - Clarion 5. Narel - Annica (A Song For Matt) 3pts: 6...

Tiësto - Bring Me To Life [Musical Freedom]

So my attitude towards Tiesto coming back to "Trance" (or whatever stuff) is pretty neutral. I'm just like "sit there and wait to see what will happen". It's not bad to attract more new listeners to trance, even if they are listening to the more EDM stuff at first. It's just like myself who was...

Tiësto - Bring Me To Life [Musical Freedom]

His album "Wolves" are nice and very easy-to-listen. Definitely a standout one to me. But if we stick to the literal "definition" of trance, I think it is not trancy enough. However, I do agree that some progressive house are indeed trancier than trance.

Tiësto - Bring Me To Life [Musical Freedom]

I disagree. I think evolution can come in different ways, both in a bad sense and in a good sense. You've talked about the bad one. For the good one, I agree with someone's opinions, that the early stages of trance has presented to us 100 ways of production, but modern things only show 5 or 6...

Kosheen x Ferry Corsten - Catch [Armada Music]

A classic-style track, seems to be produced dry and not layered well. But this may be because asot and/or beatport has compressed the audio too much, I would wait until the final release before I give an opinion. If compared with the 2001 version, the difference is little and subtle, but the...

Proteus - Proteus (Artist Album) [Alakulttuuritalo]

A nice track even in the trance perspective, the percussion feels pretty similar to his releases on Pure Trance. Seems to fit well if mixed with Ben Lost's "Exhibition: Raw" compilation. What a banger!

    Nemke - Stampedo [Monster Tunes]

The intro really has the kind of "trance-Tiesto" vibe, and for me it beats 60% tracks of the current scene, but overall I'm not fond of this one.

My Anjuna25 - Your top 25 tracks from the label(s)

Wait, has “Year Zero” by Andy Moor ever been released on anjunabeats? I only knew it was on AVA.

My Anjuna25 - Your top 25 tracks from the label(s)

I'm (mostly) a listener of newer tracks, and my vote is mostly about tracks that feel “different” from the regular ones. For me, Anjunabeats is a mainstream label where some of the wildest innovations can still be found. My vote is as follows, carefully selected and thoroughly examined from the...

Tiësto - Bring Me To Life [Musical Freedom]

This is exactly my own viewpoint, it is nothing better compared to regular Armin tracks. This track is not a trance track to me, only something EDM trying to be disguised as trance. Even a modern-day Gareth Emery track will receive mostly positive comments in the Chinese trance scene. But this...
